2004 FORD EXCURSION 4X4 DIESEL LEATHER AND LOADED WE HAVE HAD THIS TRUCK FOR OUR FAMILY VEHICLE FOR A FEW YEARS. IT’S IN GREAT SHAPE FOR A 13 YEAR OLD TRUCK. THE PAINT IS ORIGINAL AND IN GREAT SHAPE IT IS ABOVE AVERAGE ON DINGS AND SCRATCHES. IT ONLY HAS TWO SMALL DINGS ON EACH REAR CORNER PILLARS THAT SUPPORT THE ROOF (PICTURED). THE INTERIOR IS GREAT EXCEPT THE HEAD LINER SAGS A LITTLE IN A COUPLE AREAS. THIS TRUCK RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT…4X4 WORKS GOOD. WE JUST TOOK IT ON A 2000 MILE TRIP WITH NO ISSUES EVER. (AVERAGED 24 MPG). TIRES ARE ABOUT 50%. WE ALWAYS HAVE KEPT UP THE SERVICE EVERY 3000 MILES. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES IT LEAD A PAMPERED LIFE. Toyota Camry, Honda Civic inventories mounting as US automakers make inroads
Thu, 11 Jul 2013Two of the hottest-selling cars in America aren't quite as hot as they used to be. The Toyota Camry and Honda Civic are both seeing dealer supplies increase in the face of renewed competition from the much-improved Detroit Three.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the Camry's dealer inventory is 15 days higher than its seasonal average, while the Civic is 25 days above average. Things aren't expected to get better for Toyota and Honda, as RBC Capital Markets analyst Joseph Spak marked the two Japanese offerings as "at risk for reduced output."
The Detroit Three, meanwhile, are seeing supplies dwindle as demand increases, especially for the Ford Fusion, which has seen an 18-percent increase in 2013 sales, and the Chevrolet Cruze, which was second only to the Camry in June 2013 sales.
2015 Ford Edge holds line on pricing, starts at $28,100*
Tue, 04 Nov 2014The Ford Edge gets an updated platform, bolder styling and a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine pumping out 245 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque for the 2015 model year. You might expect that all those new features would result in a big price bump, but you'd be wrong. Ford is keeping costs identical to the 2014 model with a starting MSRP of $28,100 (*plus an $895 destination charge), according to Edmunds. Ford spokesperson William Mattiace confirmed the numbers to Autoblog.
That's a pretty good deal, but the real ticket here might be the model's Sport trim. Buyers get a 2.7-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine with over 300 horsepower and standard adaptive steering for $28,600 plus destination. That's just $500 more than the base model.
Pricing for the Titanium trim has not yet been announced, but it'll be a short wait to find out. Mattiace tells Autoblog that full pricing and the configuration for the model will launch on November 5. He has also confirmed that the 2015 Edge will begin hitting dealers in the first quarter of 2015.
Ford increasing Super Duty production by 15 percent
Fri, 31 Jan 2014Ford has announced a hefty $80 million investment in its Kentucky Truck Plant, which is responsible for building the F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 versions of the Super Duty pickup. The influx of cash will add 350 jobs to the factory.
The investment is also good for a 15-percent increase in annual production thanks to retooling and other facility upgrades, which equates to an extra 55,000 units of production. Considering that Ford makes even more money off its Super Duty than it does on the hot-selling F-150, this could mean some serious coin to Ford's bottom line.
