The driver seat has a tear in the back rest corner. The center console flip up lid has a worn tear in it too. The rear bumper and tailgate have some dents in them as well. Don't want anything to be a surprise to anyone traveling any distances. The truck does have an efi live two stage tune set up and runs great. The engine and transmission run and shift perfect. The wheels and tires only have around 2000 miles on them along with the tune and 4" lift. Overall it's a nice truck with nice paint, I just need a smaller truck."

This truck is in average condition; it does have small dings and dents but it is still a very nice looking truck that is rust free. The bad things about it are all small replaceable parts. The tailgate and the rear bumper are the only things that actually stand out with dents as you can see in the pictures. It is mechanically sound and the injectors have been flow checked good at a shop within the last 3000 miles. This truck was in a fleet of trucks for a company with had the speed governed at 70 mph. When it was purchased from them, the lift, wheels and tires, and tune were installed, so it has had an easy life with many more miles left in it.

The wheels are 20" machined metal and black, and the tires are 33x12.50-20 with full aggressive tread. The lift is a 4" torsion bar lift with spacers in the rear. The efi live tune has a two position switch from an extra 80hp to 120hp. It does has two new batteries I just installed.

Payment is to be made in full before the truck leaves my possession. This is a local pickup only sale.

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

Who sold the most heavy-duty pickups in 2012? PickupTrucks.com investigates

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

Domestic manufacturers enjoyed a good year for heavy-duty pickup sales in 2012. PickupTrucks.com has taken a close look at exactly how those sales broke down between each manufacturer and between three-quarter and one-ton pickups. Ford sold some 67,786 F-250 Super Duty models last year with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD falling just behind at 56,359 units. The Ram 2500 HD came in third at 41,918, while the GMC Sierra 2500 HD earned itself fourth place with 27,616 deliveries. While Ford held onto the top spot in the one-ton market, Ram easily nailed down second place by selling more 3500 HD models last year than General Motors sold Silverado 3500 HD and Sierra 3500 HD trucks combined.
So, did GM manage to sell more trucks than Ford with its two brands? Very nearly. Ford sold a total of 119,338 heavy-duty pickups to GM's 111,555. Ram, meanwhile, moved a distant 77,583. But perhaps more interesting is the diesel take rate in this segment. PickupTrucks.com says 80 percent of all domestic one-ton trucks roll from the dealer lot with a turbo-diesel under the hood. Head over to the site for a closer look at the breakdown.
