2011 Chevy Silverado 2500hd Duramax Z71 Ltz Crew Cab 4x4 on 2040-cars
China Spring, Texas, United States
Are you looking for a fully loaded hard working truck? Then you've found it. I'm
selling my 2011 Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax Diesel Z71 with the Allison
Transmission and the LTZ package. It's Black with Black leather interior. Runs
perfect, Exterior is good (few minor dings and one small dent) and then interior
is excellent. Only 61,400 miles which is barely even broke in for a Duramax
engine. I have not done any programming on this truck, nor would you need to. This truck is like driving a luxury vehicle that can tow over 21,000 lbs!
The LTZ package comes with Audio/Video Input, 20 Inch Polished Alloy Wheels, 6.6L Turbocharged Duramax Diesel V8 OHV 32V DI Engine, Back up camera with a monitor in the rear view mirror when reversing, Skid Plates, Front Head and Side Airbags, Rear 12V Power Outlet , Universal Remote Transmitter with remote start, Rear Parking Sensors, AM/FM/6 disc CD Changer/MP3 Audio System, Heavy Duty Suspension Power Adjustable Pedals, Satellite Radio with Traffic Reporting, Engine Block Heater, and a B&W hideaway goose neck hitch. Based on KBB and Edmunds, the value of this truck in a private party sale is $38,669 and you would pay over $42,000 at a dealership, but I'm taking off a little more to compensate for the exterior blemishes. |

2014 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra full configurators truck in
Sat, 15 Jun 2013You can now put prices to your wildest option-sheet dreams of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. A microsite for the full-size pickup truck twins has been up since January, and now the full-blown configurator is live and ready to take your virtual orders. The only two chassis configurations available at the moment are the Crew Cab with either a short or standard bed - Regular and Double Cab versions will come later. In Silverado flavors that will run you $32,710 for the short box, $33,010 for the standard box, while the Sierra adds a $1,500 premium to both of those prices, and destination and handling for both models adds another $995.
Since these are American pickups the list of modifications is lengthy, but we added $11,450 in just two steps by starting with the Silverado Crew Cab and standard bed, then checking four-wheel drive and the LTZ Z71 package. Our final truck, resplendent in Brownstone Metallic paint, heated and cooled Cocoa/Dune perforated leather seating and tasty details like chrome recovery hooks, and engine block heater and LED cargo box lighting, rang up $57,285 at the candy store.
They'll be on dealer lots sometime this summer, so now's a good time to start practicing your box-checking.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
General Motors shaking up its marketing... again
Wed, 13 Mar 2013One of the things that dogs the full comeback of General Motors is the instability of its marketing. That part of the automaker got yet another big shakeup today when GM confirmed what I have been tweeting for a few days - strong rumors that the Chevrolet and Cadillac ad accounts are walking to new ad agencies.
Cadillac, GM's luxury brand, is going into review from Fallon Worldwide, Minneapolis and the indications are that Campbell-Ewald, Chevy's old ad shop, will end up with most or all of it. C-E just announced that it was moving from its long-time home in Warren, MI to a new downtown Detroit office next to Ford Field, just blocks from GM.
The other shoe to drop shortly will be the shift of GM's most important brand, Chevy, from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners of San Francisco to McCann-Erickson of Troy, MI. McCann used to be the agency for Buick and GMC, as well as GM's corporate advertising, and has retained some pieces of business over the last few years. Sources have even told us that it was McCann that did a lot of the creative work on Chevy's new ad platform, Find New Roads. (Not to be confused with a former McCann tagline for Saab, "Find Your Own Road.")
