Ringgold, Georgia, United States

This nova is beautiful and turns a lot of heads.  The exterior is Bahama blue, base coat clear coat.  It was painted a little over 2 years ago.  The paint is perfect.  All the chrome around the car is as nice as new, from the bumpers to the trim.  The wheels that are on this car are 14" Chevrolet rally's.  It has new BFGoodrich radial T/A tires.  The front has 205/70/14's the rear of the car has 225/70/14's.  This is a southern rust free car.

The interior of the car is black.  It is all in very good shape, the front seat on the passenger side has a small place on the seat which will be pictured.  The rest of the interior is perfect.  The carpet is nice, the seat's, door panels, headliner, trim all in excellent condition.  The windows roll up and down as smooth as new, the doors close great and tight.  Inside this trunk, it looks original and still has the original spare tire.

Now to the drive ability of the car and the engine.  The engine is a 250 Inline 6 cylinder, and the trans is a 2-speed power glide.  The engine runs great no smoke or noise's.  You can drive this car anywhere.  The transmission shifts out excellent.  It has power breaks and power steering.  It has quite single exhaust.

In conclusion this car is very fun to drive, not to mention very easy to drive, anyone can drive this car.  I have just used it going to family events and get out and ride around on pretty days.  This is a great rust free driver quality car.  It was appraised between 10,000-12,000 when it had 97,000K Original miles on it.  Now it has 98,409K Original miles.  This nova drives like a brand new car.  It does not have a/c, but does have good heat.  I have a Bill of sale and a tag receipt.  That is what Georgia needs to get tag's, other states will honor that and title states can issue you a title with the bill of sale and tag receipt.  Call me with any questions 423-667-7235

Chevy to show redesigned Captiva in Geneva, will it come to US rental lots?

Wed, 27 Feb 2013

Unless you're renting a car or driving through Orlando, Florida (the rental car capital of the US), you'll probably never see a Chevrolet Captiva - the rebadged, fleet-only version of the old Saturn Vue - on our roads, but this crossover is popular in many other parts of the world. As such, Chevrolet announced that the Captiva will be getting an update for 2013, which will be unveiled next week at the Geneva Motor Show.
Coming off a pretty extensive refresh in 2011, the 2013 model year will bring even more changes to the Captiva like LED taillights, new 18-inch wheels and revised fascias with a new grille and fog lights up front and inset chrome exhaust outlets at the rear. New interior features include heated rear seats, dual-zone climate control as well as available options on some of the upper trim levels such as leather seating and keyless entry and start. We have yet to hear back from Chevrolet as to whether or not the updated Captiva will be making its way to a rental lot near you, as the model is only available in the US to fleet buyers.
Alongside the updated Captiva, Chevy is also showing off its new Trax in Europe, where the subcompact crossover will go on sale this spring. GM's press release for these two Geneva-bound models is posted below.

Watch NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon put one over on a used car dealer... sorta

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

Full Disclosure: in my younger days, I loved nothing more than tormenting passengers with my behind-the-wheel hijinks. Once, after a particularly artful handbrake turn on a two-lane at around 50 miles per hour, I left one backseat occupant crying in their own lap. This isn't necessarily something to be proud of, but it gives you a glimpse into why it is that I find this ad from Pepsi so damn disappointing. The premise is beautiful. Take NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon, give him a disguise and set him loose upon some unsuspecting used car dealer. Hilarity ensues.
Except that this Pepsi Max commercial is so obviously staged, it can't help but feel like some ham-fisted marketing fail. From the strategically placed aftermarket cupholder mounted mid-dash for the hidden camera to the fact that the supposed dealer Camaro is displayed as a 2009 model (Hint: Chevrolet didn't make any), this clip is about as organic as a Twinkie. Still, we would never turn down a chance to watch Gordon thrash on a rental-spec coupe - only problem is, he probably didn't even do the driving himself. Check it out below.

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
