THE CAR COMES WITH A 350 V8 , AUTO TRANSMISSION, AC, TILT STEERING, AND CRUISE CONTROL. IT HAS RALLY RIMS. IT IS MISSING ONE BEAUTY RING AND A MOLDING.

THE MILES READ 48600. I ASSUME IT HAS GONE OVER, BUT ONE NEVER KNOWS.

THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES. BEING 35 YEARS IT NEEDS SOME TLC. IT HAS A MINOR OIL LEAK, IT CREAKS AND MOANS GOING OVER BUMPS, WHICH IS PROBABLY DRIED RUBBERS ON SUSPENSION. THE DASH IS CRACKED AND IT NEEDS A NEW HEADLINER.

ASIDE FROM THE ISSUES THAT COME WITH AGE, IT IS A NICE & SOLID CAR THAT VERY EASILY CAN BE MADE INTO A DECENT CAR FOR ANYONE.

THE PAINT IS FADED DUE TO THE HOT SUN BEATING ON IT FOR 40 YEARS, BUT THE CHROME SEEMS VERY GOOD.

With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.

How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
