This vehicle was previously owned by one man for 27 years. He bought it new at the Chevy dealership in Concord, NC and still have the original dealer keychain. It has original warranty book, owners manual and spare tire. I have owned it for 4 months and drive it daily. There are no issue with the vehicle and the ONLY reason for selling it is that it is difficult for me to get in/out of. I am used to a pickup and shall return to one. Have installed new tires, new rear air shocks, new brake pads, tailgate cables, plugs, and air filter. Vehicle has 112000 miles on it but engine was replaced by the factory at 60k. Vehicle has never been smoked in has been garage kept and has NO cracks in dash. Previous owner developed health issues and requested that his son sell the vehicle. Have all service records that were performed by previous owner as well as any maintenance done by me. Clear title and would make excellent restoration vehicle since there is no rust on body. Interior carpet like new and still has factory starting instructions over driver visor. Very difficult to find one owner vehicles this age, but especially El Caminos.

Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future

The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.

New Chevrolet Silverado to be revealed on Facebook on Thursday

There's not much to see here, but if you're one of those waiting for the reveal of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, above is the teaser image that Chevrolet posted on its Facebook page. We've seen the truck in form-fitting camo before, and even less can be made out here beyond those seriously punchy Silverado-esque fenders and the knowledge that the projector-beam headlamps teased previously do indeed work. We'll have to wait until Thursday for a full perusal of the "bold exterior design" and "careful attention given to every detail" we've been promised.
Gathering intel and rumors, magnesium and aluminum contribute to the Silverado's weight loss plan, the purported "High Country" top-tier trim will contribute to luxury pickup truck competition and profit margins and the next-generation small-block V8 will contribute to improved fuel economy. On the engine note, there have been rumors of available V6 engines, and when Facebook user John Jones asked "Where's your answer to that EcoBoost Chevy?", the Bowtie replied "stay tuned on the 13th. We think you'll be pleased...".
Along with the "Raise the Bar" tag, Chevrolet says of the Silverado, "You asked, we delivered." You can watch the reveal live on Chevrolet's Facebook page at 9:30 am EST, this Thursday, December 13. The GMC Sierra 1500 will also be there, and we'll see both in person at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
