The car is great condition. Has 183,000 miles on it. Car is a 5.7L V8 automatic. It is mechanically sound and has always been well-maintained. Just put in a new battery and changed the brakes as well and it has never failed me.  Had a flat tire but had the tire changed.  Has very minor dints and dents which is inevitable in car that is almost 14 years old and small minor cosmtic issues that doesn't affect the overall performance of the car or its look.  The car also has a jack and spare tire in the rear. The interior is also in great condition as well with the exception of the center console cover that is not attached anymore but remains functional as it still covers the center console. The driver window has trouble rolling up and staying in place as it rolls up so you do have to hold the window in place as it goes up, however, it DOES stay up and prevents leaks in rainy weather thankfully. Other than these minor issues, the most important thing, I believe, is that the car won't leave you stranded anywhere or break down on you. Just needs some TLC and this performance car will take off as it always has for me. I bought the car from a dealership and I've had it for about 2 years now and since I go to school and work in NYC, my car hasn't been put to use as much anymore and I don't want the car to sit so I'd rather sell it and put whatever I make towards my college education. To conduct the sale of the car, I'd rather meet with serious potential buyers so they can take a look at the car. Cash only please. KBB lists the car at $4,800

Indian tuner turns Chevy Optra into Mustang 'Eleanor' replica

Fri, 03 Aug 2012

If you are a big fan of automotive oddities, this may come as a little treat. If you are a Shelby or Mustang diehard, prepare to have your sensibilities violated.
The master fabricators at BigDaddyCustoms are the minds behind what you see above. At first, it appears to be a slightly misshapen custom Mustang, modeled after "Eleanor" from Gone In 60 Seconds, but upon further examination, something appears to be amiss. In fact, the custom shop, based in India, has created an Eleanor replica grafted upon a lowly Chevrolet Optra. While it may take a second for the Optra to ring a bell, you should recognize its badge-engineered sibling, the Daewoo Lacetti, used on Top Gear.
We don't know what star would opt for the Reasonably Priced Car in Shelby's clothing, but it's clearly someone more concerned with the aesthetic than the performance credentials of this automotive mash-up.

Chevy confirms Corvette Stingray Convertible for Geneva

Thu, 07 Feb 2013

Want proof that General Motors has increased global ambitions for its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray? It's staging the world premiere of the model's convertible variant at the Geneva Motor Show early next month.
As previously rumored, the droptop rendered above will debut at the Swiss show, making its first appearance anywhere on March 5. According to Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet, the location makes sense because Corvette "...is an icon that has long been recognized and admired even in countries where it's never officially been offered."
While neither Chevrolet nor the Corvette has a major sales presence in Switzerland, the Bowtie's European headquarters is located in Zurich (about three hours to the northeast of Geneva) and GM has made it clear that it wants to build the Chevrolet brand up across Europe.
