The Miles Are CorrectFor This Engine That Has A Heads And Camshaft Package Done By Florida Speed AndPower. The Engine, Transmission, And Rear End Was Never Raced With As They WereReplaced With Hardened Parts And We Have Reinstalled The Factory Parts. The CarDoes Run And Drive But Has No Exhaust Except For The Factory Headers And WillNeed Some Work And A Tune For The Street. We Do Have Everything To Take TheInterior Back To Factory But Some Of The Interior Does Have Holes Cut Into ThemFor A The Roll Cage That Was Previously In The Camaro. The Harnesses Are StillIn The Car And It Does Still Have The Line Lock Kit Still Installed But NotWired Yet. The Car Does Have A Battery Cut Off Switch In The Rear Along With AParachute Mount Still Installed Behind The License Plate. I Do Have Videos OfThe Car Running And Driving Down The Road And You Can Test Drive It If You Like.This Camaro Would Be A Great Platform For A Race Car Or A Stripped Down StreetMachine. Everything Works Including The Gauges, Power Windows, And Power Locks.The A/c Is Installed But Will Need A New A/c Condenser In Order To Work But TheFans Work But It Does Not Blow Cold. I Do Not Have The Camshaft Specs But ThisEngine Dyno'd At Around 400whp N/a. Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns
Thu, 31 Jan 2013Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.
