2002 Camaro SS Hardtop 6 speed Powertrain Engine - LS1 stock bottem end and heads, pulled engine reringed, bearing, and all new GM gaskets everyone even the foam between the intake and the valley pan. - Had the heads checked new valve seals PRC beehive valve springs. -ARP head studs w/GM multi layer headgasket. -ARP cam hold down bolts, flywheel,crank pulley,header studs, clutch bolts. -Texas speed 224r cam with Texas speed hardened push rods. - LS6 intake manifold w/ allstar catch can sealed pvc system with -10 an nipple in pan with fragola shut off valve for drain back into pan. -Garret 62 mm turbocharger hot side pipes are mild steel and wrapped to the bottom of down pipe. -Tial 44mm waste gate open dump -Tial 50mm Blow off valve - All the couplers are from vibrant and to bolt clamps and vband clamps not ebay junk -4" bar and plate intercooler -Hallman boost controller w/in car boost control -An is all Fragola and Vibrant -3"SS exhaust with 12" resinator and Vibrant muffler it is very quiet all custom made. -80lbs injectors and racetronics fuel pump w/-8an up from the filter Transmission/ Rear - t56 6 speed -Centerforce Dual friction Clutch -Polymounts -Hurst short shifter -TA axels -ARP studded carrier caps -TA center cover w/girdle Chassis -Pa racing tubular K member Upper A arms And Lower A arms -BMR Rear lower control arms and panhard bar -Strano springs with kyb adjustable shocks -Brembo 4 piston up front with GM Pads and GM Z06 rotors -Brembo 4 piston in the rear with EBC rotors -Russell Braided Stainless lines Interior -Raptor Shift light w/launch control -Aem boost and wideband -Corbeau Seats Extra wide ones - Pioneer Headunit w/ rockford fosgate speakers -battery in trunk in SS box Optima red top
A little about the car. I bought it three years ago wrecked it was hit in the front end. It need both fenders,hood, bumper, and radiator. I replaced all with new gm part except for the radiator is an aftermarket aluminum and the hood is a cowl VNF hood. This car runs amazing makes 588 whp and there is no dash lights on except for the Ars light which is the traction control, its permanently shut off. Car is very reliable I don't drive it in the rain but I have taken it on long trips with no problems. It does not have ac it has been removed but does still have heat, I removed the Blower box and fiberglassed the inside to retain the air going over the heater core. The paint job is only a few years old there is not any flaws. All PPG products use to paint except the roof and hood Have SEM hotrod black on them they are a matte finish. Setup has about 2,000 miles on it in exception of brembos and shocks I just did this spring. If you have any question's don't hesitate to send me a message.

Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage

Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
Vert-A-Pac train cars kept your Chevy Vega's price in check
Fri, 01 Mar 2013Our apologies to those who've seen this before, but for the rest of the class, how awesome are these pictures of the Vert-A-Pac shipping system General Motors came up with to ship the Chevrolet Vega back in the 1970s? Developed along with Southern Pacific Railroad, GM was able to double the amount of Vega models it could ship by packing them into the unique storage cars vertically.
At the time, rail cars could fit 15 vehicles each, but Chevrolet was able to lower shipping costs by making it possible to ship 30 Vegas per rail car, in turn allowing the price of the Vega to remain as low as possible. Each rail car had 30 doors that would fold down so that a Vega could be strapped on, and then a forklift would come along and lift the door into place. All the cars were positioned nose down, and since they were shipped with all of their required fluids, certain aspects had to be designed specifically for this type of shipping, including an oil baffle in the engine, a special battery and even a repositioned windshield washer reservoir.
