This auction is for a REAL 1997 30th anniversary SS/Z28 Camaro. This car is in Fantastic condition. Its only 1 of 73 Coupes in the Z28 / SS package in automatic. 305hp. Limited slip rear end, 3:23 gear.This Camaro has 72400 miles on it. I just put new Falken tires, New Brakes and Rotors,New bump stops. I had the front skirt painted. I had the original 30th anniversary seat covers put on. Fully serviced, oil change etc. This car also has a ground effects kit from West Wing installed. I have the original Window Sales sticker, I have the Original Z28 /SS Alteration window sticker, This Camaro has even done a Lap around Indy, I have a picture and a certificate of authenticity to prove it. I also have original SS mats along with original SS car cover, Chevy magazine with this model on the cover.Original build sheet, Vehicle build summary. Everything works as it should, recently had it detailed. No Cracks on dash or door panels. For a 15 year old car it looks great. GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.

When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
