You are bidding on a 1979 chevy Camaro z28. The car runs and drives and stops excellent. Options on the car include power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. the factory air conditioning box is in the trunk because I was planning on putting a new evaporator in it but I never got around to it. the condenser is still in the front with the ports covered over with tape so that no dirt would get inside. I do not have a compressor for the car. the transmission shifts great and the car always starts right up. it has a newer edelbrock carb on top with fairly new belts and hoses. the car has no major leaks and has been very reliable for me. I drive it all over. this car is not a rust bucket! any rust on this car is very minor. the car does obviously have normal dings and dents and the paint is faded but nothing major. rally wheels have just been sanded down and painted with new center caps installed and car has very good tires. the interior does need a drivers seat cover a headliner,could stand some carpet and some other minor work but the dash is not cracked. all glass is good. there is a newer pioneer radio. very good driver car but would make an excellent project car if you wanted to make a show car. the reserve has been set at a very reasonable number for the condition of this car. buyer will be responsible for shipping.

Chevy exec confirms SS production model reveal at Daytona on Feb 16
Wed, 06 Feb 2013The 2014 Chevrolet SS will make its racing debut for the 2013 Daytona 500, but the production version of the car will get its official unveiling on February 16 in Daytona, a week before The Great American Race. According to a report by Automotive News, the reveal has been confirmed by Jim Campbell, Chevy's US vice president of performance and motorsports. With the departure of the Dodge Charger, the new Chevrolet racecar will be the only competitor to feature a V8, rear-wheel-drive layout in both street and NASCAR form.
NASCAR fans will be able to see the new fullsize performance-oriented sedan on display in the festivities leading up to the Daytona 500, but the car won't go on sale until later in the year. The Australian-built Chevy SS will be a low-volume performance model, and it will be priced above the 2014 Impala, which starts at $27,535.
Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own
Tue, 22 Jan 2013It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.

Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM.
