1969 Chevy Camaro SS/RS X11-D-80
Purchased this vehicle in 1990. I immediately drove it home into the garage with the intent of restoring it for myself. As I recall, it ran pretty good. I was told the engine was rebuilt. It is a real SS-RS.
Fast forward 20 plus years: It has been completely disassembled to a rolling shell and still stored in the garage. Most small parts have been cleaned, painted, tagged, and bagged. Some large parts
have been sandblasted and painted. The unibody has not been touched. Some new parts have been purchased.
This was a complete running car and no parts were removed to be sold. Exhaust, Radiator, and fitted chrome were scrapped and not useable.
Unibody needs quarters, trunk floor, right rear frame rail, floor work, door skins, dash, and probably more. I am not a body man. I consider the body work to be a major project.

TITLE- Please Read Carefully
I have a clear title in my name, however, the title does not match the VIN # which is not on the car (dumb mistake on my part of removing from the rotted dash)
As the last picture shows, the clerical error occurred in 1988 or before. The last three digits on the title are "118" rather "418" (as on the VIN). When I discovered
this error, I attempted to have it corrected. The Indiana State Police informed me that in this state, the VIN had to be on the car in order for them to correct the title.
VIN # matched the 2 hidden places on the cowl and the transmission. I was informed a manufactured (home built) title and VIN would need to be issued by the BMV.
Regardless, I have a title that does not match the VIN (due to clerical error of one number) and a signed affidavit from the Indiana State Police stating that they
have checked the car and it is not listed as having been stolen. I did not apply for a Home Built title.
I have a set a reasonable reserve which I will not disclose. If it does not sell, I will probably have it restored.
Not really interested in a trade, but you never know. No bikes, trucks, motor homes, or projects. Maybe a Center Console boat or ?
The majority of the small pieces that nickel and dime you are included. Service , assembly and Body by Fisher manuals included
Not included in this Auction is a pair of New Old Stock GM Quarter Panels not in the box, and GM New Old Stock Tailsections in the box.
These will be offered to the winning bidder for an additional cost. Again, these are not included in this Auction and will be offered on EBAY at a later date
if the winning bidder is not interested in purchasing for additional fee.
Prefer pick up, but will consider delivery within a reasonable distance for one dollar a loaded mile. If you elect to have someone else pick it up, then
be aware that a lot of the parts can be stored in the car, but there will be at least 2 pallets of parts (including glass). Typical drive on drive off car
pick up company won't work. I will assist in loading.
My cell # is 219-363-7038 for additional information. Leave a voice mail (no texts please) and I will return call.
All shipping cost by buyer.
Payment deposit of $500.00 non-refundable within 48 hours of Auction close.
Total payment within seven (7) days of Auction close.
Pick up must be within fifteen (15) days of Auction close, or can be discussed.
Thanks for looking--good luck!

Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes
Wed, 31 Oct 2012It seems the Pontiac Trans Am steadfastly refuses to die. Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
No matter which way you choose to go, your inner Burt Reynolds will appreciate the Eibach suspension kit, forged wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, functional shaker hood, fender air extractors, rear spoiler and, of course, a Hurst shifter inside. The interior is emblazoned with all manner of special touches, including a Hurst dash plate and T/A stitching on the Katzkin two-tone leather seats.
Joe Flacco wins C7 Corvette along with MVP honors
Mon, 04 Feb 2013As part of a longstanding tradition, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, was given a new car directly after the game and trophy celebrations. For 2013, that car is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a dealership in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 before returning to prominence as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.
Last year, Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition. Manning also won in 2008, when he selected a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid as his reward. In 2011, quarterback Aaron Rodgers accepted the keys to a Camaro convertible.
Though we're most definitely an auto-obsessed group, we did watch the Big Game along with nearly everyone else in America. And we've gotta say, as if winning the Super Bowl and receiving the Tiffany-designed Pete Rozelle Trophy wasn't enough for the multi-millionaire MVP athletes, a brand-new C7 seems like an awfully generous prize.
