You are looking at a 1994 Chevrolet 4wd pickup. I purchased this truck along with another truck that I plan to keep and repair and I dont need two so this one is on the move. It is short wheel base regular cab. It runs really good and cranks easy. It has the 5.7 or 350 V8 and a automatic tranny. It has a lift on it but I have no clue how much but it is lifted. The body is in pretty good shape but has a good (not huge) dent in the roof what appears to be from a limb. The AC seems to work and it drives down the road pretty good and it has an aftermarket set of headers with duals so it sounds pretty good. The tires are goodyear wranglers with kevlar and they have about half tread.

Now for the bad.... The most major thing (which is major) is I noticed today that there is no front drive shaft. I put it in 4wd and it still drives good and it will go into low range but that is as far as I am going with it. I did turn the front differential by hand and it spins free and should until it is put into 4wd. It also has a oil leak on the passanger side that looks like it is from the valve cover. The windshield has a crack all the way across the width of the windshield. The interior is rough but not trashed. The keyswitch has quit working as some point and the previous owner installed a push button that works great. And yes you still use the key to turn it on and off. Im sure there is something that I missed. The truck runs good. I personally drove it about 40 miles getting it home and it drove fine. But with the front drive shaft missing I am selling it as a project. Feel free to come see it if you are local and if you need to talk in person then shoot me your number and I will call you. This is a no reserve auction so please do not bid unless you plan to buy.  Feel free to ask any and all questions before you bid and do not bid with un answered questions.

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.

PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]

Wed, 19 Jun 2013

PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Head over to PickupTrucks.com to read the full evaluation and the final results. You may be shocked to see exactly where some of the segment's newest additions placed. You can also watch a video on the test below.

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
