-Red with Maroon interior 350/700R4 3:42 Gears
-All new interior, NOS seat (Maroon cloth), NOS steering wheel, new carpet, door panels, dash pad, headliner and trim. Interior in this truck is like brand new.
-Truck is a Silverado and loaded-AC, P/W, P/L, Tilt, Gauges, P/S and P/DB (all work)
-New Tires 32-11.50 R15 and powder coated rims
-NOS grille and headlight bezels

Parts that go with it-NEW spring shackle flip kit (4"), If you wanted to lift it, NEW steering stabalizer kit, Original solid steel double single roll/light bar, original brush guard ( I set the roll bar in the truck for the photos it is not attached), new inner fenders, rust free drivers door, rust free tailgate (the original is a little beat up so i got a rust free original from Arizona), weather stripping, front bumper and extra dash pieces. Truck has factory tow hooks in the front.

I have a clear title in hand and in my name. I have no idea why the Vehicle history report says otherwise. Once when it was titled someone wrote the milage wrong and forgot to put 123,000 and wrote 23,000 which explains the descrepency. Truck has a strong running 350 in it now anyway. Vehicle history shows truck was sold new in Alaska and was then moved to the southwest where it spent most of its life.

I was restoring this truck but have to move on to other projects, It is in need of a good paint job and is rust free. They are getting harder and harder to find of this vintage. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to come see the truck. Eric 703-994-0664

Buyer is responsible for shipping. You are bidding to buy not to come look at it. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48hrs of the end of the auction via paypal. The balance is due in cash when you pick up the truck. Please contact me if you have any questions about this. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime.

More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.

Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards

Fri, 22 Feb 2013

The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.

Next-gen GM SUVs caught wearing new boxy bodies [w/video]

Wed, 15 May 2013

We recently drove the brand-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and found it to be vastly improved compared to the outgoing model. And now that The General's pickup trucks have been squared away, it's time to focus our attention onto their passenger-friendly companions, the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon (above).
Our spy photographers have passed along a huge smattering of photos (and a video), showing the new SUVs out testing. Both the short- and long-wheelbase models were spied, and while the overall shape of the vehicles hasn't changed all that much, we expect the updates to be substantial. In addition to new powertrain options, like GM's new small-block V8, we expect the interiors of both SUVs to get massive makeovers, providing better materials throughout their cabins and quieter, more refined environments. We even hear that some trick new suspension developments may be in store for upper-end models.
Visually, these spy shots allow us to see a couple of new details on the SUVs' front and rear fascias, including LED running lamps on the Yukon and some interesting LED taillamp treatments. Of course, the obvious third party missing from this set of photos is the Cadillac Escalade, but as we reported earlier, GM is working to further differentiate the 'Slade from the rest of the fullsize SUV lineup, and is working to make the new model "much less ostentatious."
