You are bidding on a 1970 Chevrolet C-10 pickup. This truck has undergone extensive restoration and was my project for many years. Unfortunately, due to a move, I no longer have a garage storage space and this beautiful truck cannot sit outside! The truck and motor are fresh and do not even have 100 miles on it yet. Here are just a few of the features: POWERTRAIN: -1965 396 BBC block bored 30 over, freshly built and broken in. -iron oval port heads, ported and polished with 3 angle valve job with 2.19/1.88 stainless valves. -Isky Hydraulic lifter cam, crane roller rockers -Edelbrock Performer RPM airgap intake manifold -Holley HP double pumper mechanical secondary race carb -K&N filter charger air cleaner with lid -GM performance cast aluminum valve covers with baffles and K&N breathers - MSD full ignition including digital 6 control box with rev limiter and optional timing retard, Blaster coil, and Pro billet distributor. - Taylor 10mm spark plug wires with matching wire separators - Powermaster chrome high amp alternator - Powermaster megatorque starter FUEL SYSTEM: -Custom stainless fuel tank mounted underbed with built in bungs for AN fittings -Full 8AN braided fuel system from tank to carb(not fake dress up braid) -Holley "black" electric fuel pump -Barry Grant fuel filter and pressure regulator EXHAUST: - Hooker Super Competition headers, equal length tubes and ceramic coated. - dual magnaflow exhaust with side exit COOLING: - Edelbrock aluminum high flow water pump - aluminum 4 core radiator with twin flex lite electric fans which operate on temp sensor -March performance serpentine pulley system. Next-gen GM SUVs caught wearing new boxy bodies [w/video]
Wed, 15 May 2013We recently drove the brand-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and found it to be vastly improved compared to the outgoing model. And now that The General's pickup trucks have been squared away, it's time to focus our attention onto their passenger-friendly companions, the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon (above).
Our spy photographers have passed along a huge smattering of photos (and a video), showing the new SUVs out testing. Both the short- and long-wheelbase models were spied, and while the overall shape of the vehicles hasn't changed all that much, we expect the updates to be substantial. In addition to new powertrain options, like GM's new small-block V8, we expect the interiors of both SUVs to get massive makeovers, providing better materials throughout their cabins and quieter, more refined environments. We even hear that some trick new suspension developments may be in store for upper-end models.
Visually, these spy shots allow us to see a couple of new details on the SUVs' front and rear fascias, including LED running lamps on the Yukon and some interesting LED taillamp treatments. Of course, the obvious third party missing from this set of photos is the Cadillac Escalade, but as we reported earlier, GM is working to further differentiate the 'Slade from the rest of the fullsize SUV lineup, and is working to make the new model "much less ostentatious."
Chevy confirms Corvette Stingray Convertible for Geneva
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Want proof that General Motors has increased global ambitions for its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray? It's staging the world premiere of the model's convertible variant at the Geneva Motor Show early next month.
As previously rumored, the droptop rendered above will debut at the Swiss show, making its first appearance anywhere on March 5. According to Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet, the location makes sense because Corvette "...is an icon that has long been recognized and admired even in countries where it's never officially been offered."
While neither Chevrolet nor the Corvette has a major sales presence in Switzerland, the Bowtie's European headquarters is located in Zurich (about three hours to the northeast of Geneva) and GM has made it clear that it wants to build the Chevrolet brand up across Europe.
