1968 Chevy C10 C-10 Fleetside Original Shortbed on 2040-cars
Mesa, Arizona, United States
This rare and sought after Chevy C10 has only had two owners and is the bread and butter of Chevy classic trucks, original short bed, big window and factory four on the floor. There's a lot of so called "short beds" that have been chopped out there, but this one is the real deal and you can confirm with the VIN numbers. It has a low mile crate 350 engine with about 4,000 miles on it and it drives smooth whether you are picking up groceries or going cross country. It is definitely a head turner and gets thumbs up everywhere. The paint has been done to match the original colors that go with the trucks VIN number and gives it a smooth sleek style. The interior is comfortable and looks amazing to make the truck look good inside and out. I love this truck but I've been ready for a Classic Cadillac for a while so I'm letting it go to the next lucky home. truck sold as is no warranty
I welcome inspections but please make sure they are done before bidding ends FREE SHIPPING WITH BUY IT NOW!!!!!! thank you |

Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.

Chevy to show redesigned Captiva in Geneva, will it come to US rental lots?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013Unless you're renting a car or driving through Orlando, Florida (the rental car capital of the US), you'll probably never see a Chevrolet Captiva - the rebadged, fleet-only version of the old Saturn Vue - on our roads, but this crossover is popular in many other parts of the world. As such, Chevrolet announced that the Captiva will be getting an update for 2013, which will be unveiled next week at the Geneva Motor Show.
Coming off a pretty extensive refresh in 2011, the 2013 model year will bring even more changes to the Captiva like LED taillights, new 18-inch wheels and revised fascias with a new grille and fog lights up front and inset chrome exhaust outlets at the rear. New interior features include heated rear seats, dual-zone climate control as well as available options on some of the upper trim levels such as leather seating and keyless entry and start. We have yet to hear back from Chevrolet as to whether or not the updated Captiva will be making its way to a rental lot near you, as the model is only available in the US to fleet buyers.
Alongside the updated Captiva, Chevy is also showing off its new Trax in Europe, where the subcompact crossover will go on sale this spring. GM's press release for these two Geneva-bound models is posted below.
