2016 BMW M5 - Twin Turbo 4.4L V8 MONSTER

You will not find another M5 that is this clean for this low of a price, and trust me, this vehicle gets compliments from absolutely everyone!!

This beast has thousands of dollars of extras included and everything is pristine. I wrapped it 4 weeks ago with Avery Dennison gloss dark grey vinyl paired with fresh Rohana F1 candy red wheels. This combo with the Sakhir orange/black extended Merino leather interior is ridiculously clean and it BREAKS NECKS daily. The original black sapphire metallic paint job is also MINT and looks amazing with the OEM black 20" M5 wheels and tires.

This perfect ride has every option available and it is mind blowing how equipped this German engineered super car is. Here are some of the options it includes:

-Competition Package (increases engine to 575 hp).
o 20" M light alloy Double Spoke wheels, forged black with performance tires.
o Includes +15 horsepower.
o Sport exhausted with quad black chrome tailpipes.

BMW wants world drifting record back in US

Sat, 23 Mar 2013

BMW just can't stand the thought of the world record for the longest drift winding up in the hands of someone else. The German automaker is set to take a crack at setting a new record by blowing the old one straight out of the water. A driver in China holds the current title after kicking a car sideways for a full 3.6 miles. Now, on May 11, BMW Performance Driving Instructor Johan Schwartz will attempt to pitch a BMW M5 sideways for some 40 miles as part of a stunt to raise funds for the BMW Pro-Am Charity.
We've had the distinct pleasure of riding with the instructors at the BMW facility in South Carolina, and we can tell you that if anyone can keep an M5 at full tilt for 40 miles, it's these guys. BMW has released a teaser video to drum up attention for the stunt. You can catch it below.

BMW says SUVs killed the sports car market

Thu, 13 Nov 2014

In many ways, we're living in a golden age of automotive performance. After all, it's possible to show up at a Dodge dealer, hand over about $60,000 and storm away with a 707-horsepower Challenger Hellcat. Or for those who prefer a touch more luxury, the BMW M4, Mercedes-AMG C63 and latest Cadillac ATS-V offer between 425 and 503 horsepower, depending on your pick, with a bit more poshness. However, none of these powerful vehicles fit the classic definition of a two-place, droptop sports car, and according BMW head of sales Ian Robertson, that's because the segment is very much in the doldrums.
According to Robertson, two factors seriously wounded the classic sports car market. First, the global economic crisis of a few years ago put a serious hurt on sales, according to Bloomberg. Further worsening the situation, the boom in popularity of luxury SUVs and crossovers in the past few years hasn't allowed for much recovery. Even car-hungry China hasn't helped much because of the smog in many cities and preference among some of the very rich there to be chauffeured.
Combined, Audi TT, BMW Z4 and Mercedes-Benz SLK sales peaked around 114,000 units a year in 2007, but they are only expected to reach 72,000 annually by the end of the decade. Robertson is pretty pessimistic about the market's comeback too. "Post-2008, it just collapsed. I'm not so sure it'll ever fully recover," he said to Bloomberg.

2013 Nissan GT-R and 2013 Alpina B6 mix it up on track and street

Fri, 24 May 2013

Here we have Autocar making an unforeseen comparison: the Nissan GT-R against the Alpina B6 at Brands Hatch and on public roads. Steve Sutcliffe clobbers the circuit in the 3,828-pound, all-wheel-drive sports car, then sees how well the 4,114-pound, rear-wheel drive grand tourer does against it.
Sutcliffe says there are quite a few similarities between the two cars, but that's really only on the spec sheet. The Nissan's got two turbos attached to its 3.8-liter V6, 542 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. The Alpina's got two turbos attached to its 4.4-liter V8, 532 hp and 528 lb-ft. But one's brief is to be a monster on the track, the other on the boulevard, and if there's anything the video demonstrates, it's each car's focus.
