Up for sale is my fully loaded 2011 competition package 6 speed manual M3.

The car has been tastefully modified and is offered for sale with approximately 35-45k worth of carefully chosen aftermarket modifications. (listed at the bottom)

Offered for sale as a complete package (with OEM exhaust).

The car is Alpine White with a gulf blue vinyl wrap and only 23k miles. It also had some orange stripes (vinlyl) on it at one point but I removed those recently.

I bought the car new and have owned it for 3 years. I have mostly used it for photoshoots and car shows as I am a cinematographer and huge car lover.

My friends tease me for not tracking it. (tracked once) The car has always been too nice and too new for me to consider tracking it regularly. No accidents, No dings. I did have a very small indent in the rear bumper that I had fixed (1/2") I keep my cars perfect.

The supercharger has been incredible. Performs and feels like a stock M3 just faster like it should have been from the factory. ESS claims 625 Crank HP or more. I dyno'd at 499 RWHP at 8300 RPM. This was at 4500' elevation. These kits are solid and battle-tested. ESS makes the best SC kit.

The Klassen wheels are incredibly detailed and complete a perfect stance for the vehicle. Lots of time spent on the CNC machine in order to offer this level of detail.

They are not cheap but are very high quality, beautifully unique wheels.

The Stoptech trophy kit was shipped back east to be disassembled and refinished by somebody that works on these brakes regularly.

The feel of this brakes is second to none and they have performed very well. They would be perfect for anyone looking to track this car in the future. They look pretty good too!

The OPTIONAL exhaust that is NOT included in the Ebay auction completes the car and the tips have been ceramic coated black to match the rest of the color scheme. It sounds amazing, yet is still totally acceptable for daily driving.

Sounds quite civil with normal driving and sounds unbelievably incredible when opened up at high RPM's.

The complete EVO system is quieter but the GT3 front section is perfect. Sounds incredible.

Why am I selling?   Been travelling a lot lately and I'm also thinking about eventually buying something different. It will be hard to replace.

This car has been good to me for the past 3 years. To me, it is a perfect car - the best car I have ever owned. It is leaps and bounds better than a stock M3, yet still solid and reliable.

This car has been babied. No curb rash, no abnormal wear. I can't even think of a door ding or a rock chip. (there may be a few small rock chips from typical use) however, the OEM front bumper was clear bra'd when new and the Vorsteiner bumper looks amazing and is vinyl wrapped.

The interior also looks fabulous - no issues.

I am anal about my cars. This car is in amazing condition.

I would consider parting this car out if it doesn't sell. I would also consider selling the car without certain mods (such as the wheels, brakes, front bumper, etc) I can be somewhat flexible here but I am trying not to part the car out. This car is too perfect to pull all the mods off and part it out. I really would rather sell it to one lucky buyer :)

Feel free to email me and we can discuss things further or talk on the phone.

2015 BMW M4 Coupe

Mon, 12 May 2014

Launched out of the seat by a huge, unexpected dip in the road, yet still held largely in place by the smooth webbing of my safety belt, I clench my teeth waiting to come back to earth. A tenth of a second later, the M4 Coupe touches down and my body is slammed into the leather seat cushion. All of the air is forced out of my lungs upon landing, but the BMW's chassis, suspension and steering appear unfazed. Pleasantly surprised, I mash the accelerator to the floor in giddy pursuit of the car in front of me - an absolutely identical 2015 BMW M4 coupe.
A cavorting game of cat-and-mouse on a desolate twisty canyon in southern Portugal is an excellent way to explore the real-world driving dynamics and performance of BMW's all-new M4 Coupe. But to truly push it to the limit - without having to worry about oversize depressions in the asphalt - requires a dedicated racetrack. Graciously, my hosts have rented the famed Autódromo Internacional do Algarve racetrack, or Portimão circuit, for an afternoon of automotive debauchery.
It's hard to believe this passes for work.

BMW maintenance plan no longer transferrable to 2nd owner

Tue, 12 Aug 2014

One of the best innovations in car buying in recent years is the rise of no-cost scheduled maintenance programs. Many people feel really anxious about taking their car in for service, and these deals help mitigate that somewhat. Obviously, it's not free for automakers to implement the offers, and now BMW is altering the way its four-year, 50,000-mile Maintenance Program works for some owners. "To keep such an offer sustainable we had to make a change," said Kenn Sparks, Manager of Business Communications at BMW North America, to Autoblog via email.
The original person to buy or lease the model isn't going to see any difference, but the program is no longer transferable to a second owner, unless that person is in the owners household. Those people include includes parents, siblings, grandparents and grandchildren, in addition to someone like a spouse or children. The original owner just has to advise BMW of new user. "The program change will affect 2nd owners and for them BMW is introducing an optional full-maintenance product that covers the vehicle up to 100,000 miles," said Sparks. China probing German automakers over spare parts

Sat, 26 Jul 2014

The Chinese market has proven to be a boon to German luxury automakers. However, the way that the companies have allegedly been controlling their supply of spare parts has begun to draw the ire of the nation's government. According to insiders speaking to Bloomberg, officials from the country's economic planning organization have opened a probe into Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and some Japanese carmakers over claimed price inflation and limiting supply.
Specifically, the investigation centers around two aspects of how the companies do business, according to Bloomberg. Investigators want to know whether the original equipment component makers are able to sell spare parts only to automaker-authorized dealers or if they are also available to independent shops. There is also the issue of whether the price markup on replacement pieces is too high. The tight controls could be partially explained by China's reputation for producing counterfeit parts.
Evidently, the investigators haven't checked parts prices at car dealers elsewhere in the world. At least in the US, paying more at the dealer for factory components just goes along with owning a vehicle. If evidence of price fixing is found, the companies could face fines the equivalent of millions of dollars, according to Bloomberg.
