IM SELLING MY BMW M3 1998 WITH LOW MILES AND GOOD CONDITION, I HAVE SEEN MANY AROUND AND THE CONDITION OF MINE IS BETTER. I HAD THE CAR FOR A YEAR NOW AND MY FRIEND HAD IT FOR A LITTLE OVER 6 MONTHS. THERE IS 4 OWNERS LISTED THE FIRST TWO OVER 10 YEARS COMBINED, THEN MY FRIEND, HAD TO GO BACK TO HIS COUNTRY AND IT WAS TOO EXPENSIVE TO SHIP IT SO HE SOLD IT TO ME. NO COMPLAINS OF THE CAR SO FAR, BUT I GOT A NEW CAR AND ITS JUST SITTING THERE.

THE PAINT STILL SHINES GOOD, IT HAS A LITTLE CHIP LESS THAN A QUARTER SIZE ON THE RIGHT FENDER. SOMEONE KEYED MY CAR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE LOOK AT PICTURE. THE REST IS DUE TO AGE.
MOTOR AND TRANY ARE SOUND, IT LOOKS GOOD AND HAS PLENTY OF POWER.

THE CAR HAS NEW DRIVE SHAFT CENTER BEARING AND GUIBO, BRAKES , DRILLED ROTORS AND A RADIATOR. THE OIL WAS DONE ABOUT 1000 MILES AGO WITH SYNTETIC, SO IT HAS A LONG TIME TO GO.
THE CONVERTIBLE TOP DOES NOT WORK ALL THE WAY IN AUTOMATIC, I SHOW A PICTURE HERE SO YOU CAN SEE UP TO WERE IT GOES BY ITSELF, THIS IS A FULLY AUTOMATIC TOP SO THE SENSOR HAS TO BE CHECKED, THE THREE MOTORS WORK GOOD. I RESET THE SYSTEM AND IT WORK FOR A COUPLE OF TIMES BUT IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED SO IS LISTED AS NOT WORKING PROPERLY.
ALL WINDOWS GO UP AND DOWN
THE LIGTHS, BREAK LIGHTS AND FRONT LIGTHS INCLUDING FOG LIGTHS WORK GOOD. THE TRUNK HAS A DOME LIGHT GOOD, INSIDE LIGTHS GOOD.

BMW M2, we're happy to see you
Wed, 03 Sep 2014I recently spent some time behind the wheel of the BMW M235i and, well, I didn't love it. Sure, it's a great car, but I just didn't truly bond with it the way I have with previous M cars. What I had hoped for was a proper successor to the 1 Series M Coupe I fell in love with in 2011, but what I got instead was just a sporty 2 Series that didn't exactly stir my emotions in the same way.
But now there's this: the honest-to-goodness BMW M2. Previously, spy photographers captured a development-mule M2, but this is the real thing, in its full prototype body. Notice the aggressive front fascia that mimics the M3/M4, the more more robust wheel/tire package, and the M-standard quad exhaust outlets around back. This thing sure does look the business.
Details are slim as of this writing, but rumors suggest power will come from BMW's now-ubiquitous N55 turbocharged 3.0-liter six, with output somewhere in the 360- to 380-horspower range. The seven-speed M dual-clutch transmission seems like a good fit here, too. As does a six-speed manual transmission (here's hoping).
30th Anniversary BMW M5 information leaks out
Mon, 05 May 2014BMW hasn't kept its 30th Anniversary M5 a very big secret. It even hinted that "a surprise" was coming while celebrating its Autobahn-storming sedan's 30th birthday. However, what exactly was on the way has been a mystery... until now. The folks over at Bimmerpost have found some leaked details about the new model, and it's definitely more than just some badges special paint.
The biggest upgrade for the M5 is that power allegedly increases to 592 horsepower (600PS) and 516 pound-feet of torque (700 Newton-meters). That is a 32-hp and 14-lb-ft increase over the standard M5 and 17 ponies more than models with the Competition Package. The forum claims that all of the cars come with a dual-clutch gearbox, even in the US.
Styling also sees an upgrade with BMW Individual Frozen Dark Silver Metallic exterior paint, special 20-inch wheels, dark chrome trim and 30th Anniversary badges. The interior mixes Merino leather and Alcantara upholstery with dark aluminum trim and more celebratory badges.
BMW recalls diesel X5 models over fuel filter heater

BMW has announced that it is recalling 1,540 examples of its 2009 and 2010 X5 xDrive35d crossovers produced between June 13, 2009 and November 9, 2009.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the model's fuel filter heater, which warms up the diesel fuel at low outside temperatures, can experience an electrical overload condition that may cause it to become permanently activated. This means the fuel filter heater could remain activated even when the ignition is off, which could lead to a dead battery. It could also lead to overheating, possibly resulting in a fire.
