2008 M3 Sedan 6 Speed Manual Alpine White With Fox Red Leather Super Sharp! on 2040-cars
Chandler, Arizona, United States
This is the last of possibly the greatest M3's ever produced, the only with an 8000+ RPM High Revving V8 Engine! Just an AMAZING ride!
I am the second owner, I purchased this car from it's original owner just about 2 years ago. I had been looking high and low for the Alpine White with Fox Red Interior, an extremely rare combo to find, and truly must see to appreciate! It has been an excellent car for me, but my job requires me to get a truck. This car is all original, always driven responsibly and cared for by local BMW dealer. Paint is in excellent shape! Interior looks great! I just installed brand new BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Tires all the way around, and new brakes. Car needs absolutely nothing. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at: 480-570-5847 if you have any questions. Also message me for any additional images, I have close ups of everything, car will not disappoint for a clean original last of the V8 M3 6speed BMW's! Modifications to the car: Nano 20% Window Tint (Reduces 85% of heat in the cabin) Black Kidney Grilles & Alpine White M3 Fender Badges. (Have the OEM items as well, included) The reserve is very reasonable for a car in this shape with this mileage. Only item to note is some normal wear and tear on the steering wheel, normal for these BMW's is some peeling of the black plastic around the horn. Other than that, all in excellent condition. Good Luck & Happy Bidding! I reserve the right to end the auction early, as I have this vehicle listed locally, also I'm still driving this car so mileage will be up slightly. |

Six luxury-car features I'm ashamed to admit I love
Thu, 16 Oct 2014A hot compress felt wonderful on my sore back. The methodical kneading of my shoulder blades loosened the knots that formed over several hours of driving. The Swedish-style pulses firing into my lumbar region released more tension.
I wasn't getting a much-needed massage following a recent road trip. I was getting it during the road trip.
I grew up riding in the back seat of a 1976 Chevy Nova. But once you use these lux features, it's easy to go soft.
BMW 328d confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 14 Mar 2013Late last year, some of BMW's future diesel plans for the US market were leaked, and we learned that a diesel-powered version of the 3 Series sedan (pictured above in 335i guise) would be coming in the first quarter of 2013. That report appears to be holding true, as BMW has just confirmed the debut of the oil-burning 328d sedan as part of the company's New York Auto Show plans.
The 328d will be powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine good for 180 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The rear-wheel-drive sedan will hit 60 miles per hour in 7.2 seconds and fuel economy numbers could "well exceed" 40 miles per gallon. (Official EPA numbers will be released closer to the car's launch.)
Elsewhere on BMW's New York stand, the company will show off the 3 Series Gran Turismo that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, as well as the Concept Active Tourer that we first saw in Paris last fall. Scroll down for the official press blast.
Can the government mechanically force you to wear your seatbelt? [w/poll]
Fri, 30 Aug 2013
The National Highway Traffic Administration is considering the use of ignition interlocks in vehicles that would require the seatbelts of occupied seats to be fastened in order to drive the car, Automotive News reports, four decades after Congress moved to prevent manufacturers from installing them in cars sold in the US market. Following a transportation bill passed last year that lift some of the restrictions on seatbelt interlocks, automakers such as BMW are considering the benefits of using them in future cars. Now, before you go crying about your lost freedom, keep reading.
BMW said in an October 2012 petition that the use of seatbelt interlocks would allow the company to make lighter and more spacious vehicles, if the devices could be used in lieu of unbelted crash tests. The crash test has required the addition of bulky safety features, such as knee bolsters, that aren't as necessary when occupants are buckled up, especially when considering the dizzyng list of safety features that come standard on today's cars. Europe, which has a higher rate of seatbelt use than in the US, doesn't perform unbelted crash tests on cars sold there.
