Selling my 2001 BMW e46 M3 Coupe in Laguna Seca Blue equipped with Cold Weather, Luxury package, Lumbar support, Xenon Headlights, Harman/Kardon Sound system, and more options. I've had this car since 2010 and it's been a garage Queen. The car is all stock with no performance modification ever added and adult/babied driven. To my knowledge this car has not been tracked. I own many BMWs and this is not the last that I'll own. This is mainly the reason I'm selling, I've recently purchased my dream car and I don't need two Garage Queens. I've maintain all my BMWs according to BMW specs and OEM products. All oil changes were Castrol TWS / Filter all bought from the dealership. All services/records from previous owners are provided/shown below. Car runs great and strong, I would have no problem driving from the East to West coast. Brand new tires was added at the 37.7k mileage marker of the car. This car is hassle free, if you're coming out of state or in state, car is ready to be driven off. Being that the Car is a 2001, the car was fixed under warranty for the Rod Bearings from the previous Ownership by a BMW Dealership as part of the recall (I've provided a picture of the invoice order). The car does have minor curb rash due to previous owner living in the DC area (I've taken photos in the "Detail Pictures" link) Car comes with 2 Keys and a valet key as pictured, I also have the Leather pouch/manual/radio code that comes with the car which is usually kept in the glovebox **I'm also selling this locally and on other sources, so listing may be cancel upon anytime** In terms of payment, winner pays $2,000 deposit and the rest either by Cash or Cashier's Check. The transfer of funds will happen during regular banking hours. If you're from out of state, we can discuss the exchange of money/verification before I can sign the title over. |

Next BMW X1 caught on flatbed
Tue, 17 Sep 2013The X1 had been around for four years before it was added to BMW's US lineup, so it isn't all that surprising that a new version of the company's smallest Sport Activity Vehicle is already in the works. Captured in transit on the back of a flatbed truck, these spy shots give us our first look at the next-gen X1 - codenamed F48 - which is expected to debut around 2015.
While the camouflage does a good job of obscuring most of the styling elements, we definitely see evidence of the X1's new platform. Elements like the loss of the long nose and a noticeably shrunken dash-axle gap (just compare this spy shot picture to this one from our X1 review), are good indicators that the next X1 will move to the new front-wheel-drive platform BMW is using for the new Mini and 1 Series GT. Aside from this, the overall shape is very similar to the current design, but we're sure it will pull many cues from the updated range of BMW products.
BMW restores classic Mini as it revives production in Netherlands
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Mini will be kicking off production in the Netherlands, a country that hasn't built a Mini-badged machine since 1966. In honor of this event, BMW Group Classic, the team responsible for all the cars in the BMW Museum, as well as being a spare parts and restoration company in its own right, revived a classic 1959 Austin Seven. That particular car, number 983, was one of the first Minis to be built in the Netherlands.
The Netherlands' JJ Molenaar's Car Companies built 4,000 Austin Sevens and Morris Mini-Minors between 1959 and 1966, although we imagine Dutch Mini production will be much bigger when it starts up again in summer 2014. A five-person team from VDL Nedcar, the group handling production of new Minis, took to the job of restoring the diminutive British car from nose to tail.
The 34-horsepower engine and the transmission were both completely rebuilt, while the door panels were redone by hand. Help from the Mini community aided the VDL Nedcar team in finding authentic replicas or original parts where possible. All told, the new classic Mini is a striking example of what a good restoration can do to a car. The Seven was repainted in its original Farina Gray, adding to the car's sense of authenticity.
Hyundai, BMW in plant talks with Mexican officials
Fri, 27 Sep 2013BMW and Hyundai may be joining the rush for the border that has already seen Nissan, Honda and Mazda begin factory construction in Mexico, while Ford and General Motors have both made significant investments in their Mexican facilities. BMW's interest in Mexico has been apparent for some time, and while we'd heard grumblings about Hyundai's move into Latin America some time ago, the last we heard about it was in 2009.
This new move, reported by Bloomberg, doesn't get specific on which models will be produced south of the Rio Grande, and as neither automakers' spokespeople responded to the business site's request for statements, all we really have to go on are the statements of Mexico's Economy Minister, Ildefonso Guajardo: "I cannot talk for them, but I think that starting 2014 we'll have new announcements. At least for one." Which manufacturer that will be remains anyone's guess, although judging by all the recent scuttlebutt that's been going around, the smart money seems to be on BMW. We'll stay with this one.
