2007 Aston Martin Vantage-JAMES BOND SUPERCAR- Gorgeous, Sexy, Unique!!* If you are looking for the finest and most
intriguing Aston on the market look no further. This Black Beauty" gets compliments everywhere it goes. The car
has been completely "blacked out" to give it a very mean and sexy stance. One would say that this car was made
for James Bond. The taillights, marker lights and all trim were professionally blacked out. The windows are
tinted with the newest technology IR film. Niche gloss black wheels with new Hankook tires and ceramic brake pads
help this 6 speed manual supercar cruise so ever smoothly down the road. I had Fabspeed hi flow stainless steel
cats installed with an x-pipe to give it an awesome growl. If you want to be noticed and respected than this car is
for you. It sits in my garage on a battery tender under a car cover. It only has 34,471 miles. I have the
owner's manual and 2 sets of keys. It has a clear title and I have it in my safe. This car runs and shifts
perfectly. There are no rips or wear marks on the leather. The paint has a special protectant that gives it a
deep rich black shine. This car is in excellent condition.

The Windsor Castle Concours d'Elegance in pictures, courtesy of Bentley
Sat, 15 Sep 2012Bentley went to the Windsor Castle Concours of Elegance as the main sponsor and showed off six of its best among the gathering of "60 of the finest motor cars in the world," including the 4¼-liter Bentley 'Embiricos' Special built for a Greek shipping magnate and gentleman racer in the 1930s.
Even better, for us at least, is that when Bentley decided to capture the moment it took pictures of most of the metal on the lawn, not just the Bentleys. Thanks to that, we have a high-res gallery that's home to rarities like the Vauxhall 30-98 Type OE Boattail Wensum Tourer, beauties like the Bugatti Type 57S Atalante, long-tail Ford GT40, Maserati Tipo 60 Birdcage, Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato, a sinister Ferrari 250 GTO and the even more sinister Rolls-Royce Phantom Aerodynamic Coupe, among others. All you need to do now is click and enjoy.
Mercedes to offer SL, GL platforms to Aston Martin?
Sun, 23 Mar 2014The agonizingly slow courtship between Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz has been a regular topic of conversation ever since the 2009 Lagonda Concept debuted, riding on a Mercedes GL chassis. Beyond that one polarizing concept, though, nearly every other attempt to pair the two brands up in a major way has fallen through. Only the technical partnership between Mercedes and Aston for certain components from AMG, which was negotiated back in July, has held up so far.
That may finally be set to change, according to an excellent profile of the two brands' relationship from Automobile, which claims that two platforms will unite the Germans and Brits. The first tie up is, not surprisingly, a sports car.
As Aston Martin's VH platform - which underpins every car that comes out of Gaydon - continues to age, the pressure will well and truly be on Aston to find a next-gen replacement to underpin the successors to the Vantage, Vanquish, DB9 and Rapide. Automobile claims Mercedes has just such an architecture, in the form its new modular sports car platform. This new platform is slated for the next-generation SLK and SL and is still in its design infancy.
Maybach and Aston Martin alliance talks fall apart
Tue, 27 Sep 2011If you have, like us, been salivating at the notion of a new generation of Maybach and Lagonda ultra-luxury crafts built by Aston Martin, we've got some bad news: According to reports emanating from Germany, talks between AML and Daimler have broken down.
The proposal under negotiation would have seen Daimler outsourcing production of the next family of Maybach models to Aston Martin, which in return would benefit from Mercedes-Benz platforms and engines - not only for its svelte GTs, but also for its own future Lagonda line of limousines and luxury SUVs. That, and a boatload of money - or at least that's what AML was reportedly seeking, an issue that served as the stumbling block over which the deal reportedly collapsed.
That's not to say the two parties couldn't still reach some sort of a compromise, but short of that, Daimler may opt to either shut down Maybach altogether, find another partner, or take another stab at building new models internally.
