DO NOT USE THIS AUTO REBUILD!!! They
DO NOT USE THIS AUTO REBUILD!!! They took 6 weeks to replace a bumper on my CLK. Never called me even to return my phone calls. Then didn`t even do a decent job, the bumper hung low on one side and returned my car to me dirty on the inside and out. And not to mention over priced, even though I didnt come out of pocket. I mean c`mon 10k to replace a bumper?!?! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Superb Craftsmanship and Service
We have had several family cars repaired at Metro Auto Rebuild, and I would never take our vehicles anywhere else. Their service is the best! Ryan kept us informed along the way, let us know if there were any difficulties with our insurance company, and always fought to repair our car the way it should be done! The paint job matched perfectly, and our cars have always been returned to us in immaculate condition. ... view moreI would highly recommend them for any make of car! They really know what they are doing! PS, they are now on Airport Way S.

BEST IN TOWN!
NOT SURE WHY ANYONE WOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT METRO. I BROUGHT MY MERCEDES C300 TO THEM AFTER BEING SIDE SWIPPED AND IT ONLY TOOK THEM 5 DAYS TO MAKE MY CAR LOOK BRAND NEW AGAIN! EVERYONE IN THE OFFICE WAS GREAT. THE OWNER EVEN GAVE ME A RIDE TO WORK WHEN I DROPPED MY CAR OFF. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WITH A MERCEDES!

FYI- THEY ARE ON AIRPORT WAY S NOW

If you`re willing to wait over a month
If you have unlimited time, resources, and patience, then take your car to be repaired here.

Their quality is generally good - although if they can find a shortcut they`ll take it. But every other aspect of the experience was truly miserable.

Cannot emphasize enough their total lack of communication. Multiple phone calls go unanswered - I feel sorry for the receptionist who has to tell bogus stories a... view morebout people not being there or being gone for the day at 2pm.

And they will blame your insurance company whenever they can; but when I asked for timelines for their requests my insurance company was out within a day to inspect - certainly not the cause of the multiple delays.

If you have another quality option, take it! At the end of the day it will mean less money out of your pocket and a lot less stress and frustration (priceless!).

Do not take your car here!!!!!!!!!!!
I took my car in for repairs and there was no communication at all. No one ever called me to tell me how the repairs were going I had to call them if I wanted to know anything. Then my 8 day repair turned into a 35 day repair. So instead of driving around in my mercedes I was stuck in a rental for over a month. No one should ever take their car here. This place is a complete joke!!!!!!

Great Quality
You should really educate yourself in the autobody industry before listening to people who look down on a shop because the estimate goes up or repairs take longer than estimated. It is just that an estimate! Insurance companies arent the easiest people to deal with if you want your car repaired the right way and a lot of things are out of the body shops hands.
I had my car repaired at Metro because the dealer rec... view moreommended them and I couldnt be happier with the end results. It was however a very long process because my insurance company did not want to pay for the full repairs to get my car fixed properly. Metro did everything they could so that my car was fixed right and I did not have to get involved.
If I could make any recommendations about this shop I would say that the communication could have been better. I would have liked to understand the process more before the repairs began but now that I do understand I would never trade timeliness for quality. Because of the exceptional quality Metro will get all of my auto repair business (although I hope I never have to use them again :) )

DO NOT USE this body shop
i have my car repaired done there due to a car accident. the staffs there are unprofessional and almost never return follow up call. they told me there are extra damages after the initial inspection but did not take adequate pictures to justify the extra repair. DO not use them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN!
My suggestion to improve service- take a communication class! I only had to replace a mirror- and it turned out to be very frustrating! First, I take it in at 8:00 and am told it will be done by 4:00. At 4:30 I still haven`t heard anything so I call and learn that the purchased mirror was broken so they needed to order another. I don`t know if they intended to keep it for the week, or if they were ever going to call!... view more

They politely told me that they would call me when the parts were in. This never happened- I had to call to reschedule the appointment.

When I take the vehicle in for the re-scheduled appointment, I am assured it will be done by 4:00 so that I can make it to class. Again, 4:00 rolls around and I haven`t heard anything. I call and am told that it won`t be done until 5:00. When asked if I can pick it up later, I am told no... they close at 5:30. When I asked if they could leave the keys in it and pick it up after class, I am told no, they don`t have anywhere to park it! As a result, I missed my law class to pick it up. When I get there, I am then told I have to bring it back it so they can buff the mirror!

Horrible experience! If you like being jerked around and need drama in your life- go here. If not- avoid it!

Would definitely not recommend...
I was in a very unfortunate accident with my brand new car and called my dealership the next day to find out who the recommended body repair shop is in the area. Apparently the receptionist I talked to was un-informed because she sent me to Metro Auto Rebuild. In later conversations with the sales manager at the dealership, they have stopped recommending this body shop because of complaints from customers. Well, i... view moret was too late for me...but hopefully you are smarter than I am because you are reading this post BEFORE you engage them for your body work.

I won`t go into the long, drawn out story. Let`s just say that the actual work done on the car ended up being half of the initial estimate, and I have serious concerns over the relationship between the insurance adjuster and the body shop coordinator. The work that they did was visibly incomplete and poor workmanship (detailing was poor, paint was already cracking on the parts they replaced, they missed a ""1/2 inch scratch on the bumper, and the tailpipes were misaligned/not matching). Not only that, but the Metro rep lied to me about the condition of the repair in the trunk. It was not at all close to previous condition and a visit to the dealership to look at a new car of the same year/model confirmed this. The sales manager at the Audi dealer examined the car and advised that I go back and get the poor work fixed, but that I also press them on replacing the tailpipe (it was too late to do anything about the trunk at this point).

I went back to the Metro and had to be very firm to get them to do the re-work needed. They eventually complied. Now they are conceding that, in fact, there are additional repairs required that they did not complete the first time around. I am furious and I`ve spent so much time on this issue that it`s affected my life/work for the past 6 weeks now. Not only that, but I have very real concerns that there are things wrong with my brand new car that I don`t know about.

This shop rebuilds to spec. - correctly - without cutting corners
Outstanding service - took my `98 BMW 540i in for a comprehensive claim -- Metro worked with my insurance company for additional costs, and even gave me a ride to a nearby location after I dropped off my car. They a took a few days longer than expected but it was because they waited to get a part in they needed to do the job correctly. The paint matching was second to none. If your priority is the end result - thi... view mores shop is the place to go in Seattle. If you care about getting the car out of the shop as soon as possible - take it somewhere that will cut corners...
