Still Squeaky Brakes

I took my car in about a year ago because the brakes were squeaky and they said that they would fix them. I was excited to have them fix so I didn`t have people stare at me everytime I stopped, I could be heard everywhere I went. I took the car back in to get the brakes readjusted and a couple times later there are still squeaking, they want more money to make sure they don`t sqeak. CROOKS

I am a woman in my early 20`s. I came to Midas to have my brakes changed and the roters turned. I have never done this before so I didnt know what to expect. I was charged over $700.00. When i came home and showed my husband the bill, he called the manager, who claimed that he had to remove the axl from my Ford Explorer in order to access the brakes. We called several mechanics to see if this could possibly be true... view more, and they said its a lie. He would not have had to remove the axl. My husband called the manager and confronted him. His answe was basically...well i already have the check. Tough luck. DONT GO HERE! DO YOUR OWN BRAKES!
