Also my shifter broke, so I called multiple places who all told me that it would take several days to order the special made part.. me being in a hurry was warned against America`s Service Station`s claim to use a safe and reliable "used" part that was convientely in their shop (I have a foreign car, and parts are hard to come by) so... despite the warning of other automotive shops.. I went with America Service Station. Now I`m back in the shop again ( 1 month later) to repair the shifter AGAIN. All and all, shotty parts and shotty service with a friendly and convincing smile.

If i could give this place 0 stars i would! i took my car there for an oil change because of a coupon i found in the paper. I took it there around 2 thinking my car would be ready for me to go to work at 6. I was very wrong! I show up at 5:30 and they say they are putting the air filter in and didnt leave till 6:15 after battling them to get my car back. 2 weeks down the road my check engine light comes on and my car... view more starts acting up. Come to find out they had broke my intake tube in half and taped it back together with electrical tape! i will NEVER take my car back there! Go to jiffylube!! or anywhere else for that matter!

Unlike other reviewers I`ve seen discussing this shop who readily confess that they have a limited knowledge of cars, I can tell you that you should take great care in doing business with these guys. I definitely feel ripped off. I brought in a Toyota Camry with a probable seized engine (Google "class action lawsuit for Toyota engine sludge"). I accurately diagnosed the problem for them, and left th... view moree car to get a repair quote. These guys quoted me a total repair cost of $9,000 to replace the engine with a used engine with 30K miles on it. Completely ridiculous. They quoted $6,000 for an engine that I later bought myself for $2,200. Also, they quoted 24 hours of labor for a job that normally takes 15. Needless to say, I didn`t have them do the repair, and that`s where it gets really insulting. They charged over $300 for doing nothing more than removing the oil pan and confirming that indeed the engine seized. That`s two hours of labor and $90 diagnostic fee to remove a couple readily-accessible bolts with a basic wrench to tell me what I already told them. This is far from "reasonable and customary". I was in complete disbelief when they gave me the bill. I will NEVER use them for anything, and will warn every person I know to avoid this shop. I suggest you avoid them as well. Next stop...Better Business Bureau.

My car was making a really bad rattling noise, so I took it in to the RR location. I had no idea what it was, all I knew was it was coming from under the hood, so I took it in and told them that I was really worried that there was something wrong with my engine, and the guy there (I`m sorry I don`t remember the name) told me that there was something loose. They didnt charge me for this service since I had been there before, but honestly I would have believed whatever it was they had told me. My car broke down after normal work hours and I called the location for the complimentary towing service. They had a tow truck to my car within the hour, AND it was free of charge! They even drove me home and offered to take me to wherever I needed to go.They towed my car to the location and fixed it the next day, and when they were finished I received a phone call and they delivered my car back to me that night! I went to the location in Round Rock on my lunch break for an oil change, and the gentlemen at this location got it done ASAP. I was in and out in about an hour, and everyone there was incredibly friendly. I reccommend it to anyone and everyone!

I went there for an inspection. They forgot I was there and I waited an hour before inquiring how long it was going to take. They didn`t apologize or anything, just said that they would start right away. They came back and failed my car because a marker light was out, even though marker lights aren`t even required on passenger cars. It was terrible. I don`t recommend this place.
