I brought my car in to get a used motor installed. They told me it would be 2000 dollars. Two and a half month later they finished installing the motor and charged me an additional 1100 dollars. They lied to me on several diffrent occasions about pricing and what they were doing to my vehicle. I picked up the car and 29 miles later the car broke down! don`t trust

I would definitely recommend not going to Village Automotive. They seem very nice at first because they know they are taking your money for unnecessary parts. I, being a girl, don`t know a ton about cars. When I told my guy friends what I was being charged, they called Village Automotive and had them stop working on my car immediately because I was being WAY overcharged. When asked about the charges, they quoted us 3... view more different prices on the same part, trying to explain where the other charges came from. When I tried to pick up the car, they charged me an outrageous price without being able to tell me what I was being charged for. The manager was reasonable about it, but he got the owner who immediately began yelling at me. He didn`t bother asking me what the problem was, he just came out of the shop yelling. I was appaled that he would even raise his voice without asking what the problem was.I ended up taking the car to another shop where they charged me half the price and never yelled
