Great Company

I have all my work done at Crothers. Tom will explain what need to be fixed and give me the cheapest option available. I have always been happy with his work and price. Highly Recommend !!!

I came in with a problem to my fuse box and my van it would not start, blinkers did not work, brake illumination and all other wired connection ceased. Talking with the owner Tom Jr about what had happened we went over options such as attaching a breaker to the box or installing a new fuse box from the dealership. I told Tom I can go to the junk yard and pickup a used box. He said he would not warranty any used parts... view more and that he would only warranty his own work or a new fuse box from the dealership. I went with his work as Tom stated it would cost less. Tom than attempted to fix the issue and did seem to get my van back to working order. I paid $479 for some wires and a breaker. I was happy that it worked as it wasn`t really about the money. My happiness didn`t last b/c the very next day, I had to inform Tom of an new issue, and told him everything seems to be still working except the brake illumination. He fixed the issue for no charge stating it was a bad breaker he had installed. So I went on my way and was again just happy it worked. Until again a month later I had to pull off the road after a drive laid on his horn and stuck his head out his window to say nice f`n brake lights! So I pull off the road way to inspect the fuse panel to get a better look at the new breaker box yet again. I had jiggled the wires to try to make the lights illumanate but it did not work, nothing illuminated, and I was now a few minutes from home without brake lights. Luckly Toms shop is right down the street from my home so I made it there to ask tom to yet again check his work over. Tom said he was booked and that there was nothing he could do so I agreed to bring it in 4 days later. After bringing it in for this third time Tom attempted to inspect his work on my fuse box. Not too much later in the day Tom did call to inform me the brake light were working again, and that I owe Tom $208 more dollars. I said I did not authorize you Tom to add to the jobs contract, I only asked you to check it over like I had to before. I got off the phone to go down the street to better discuss with Tom the matter and he handed me my keys, threw me out telling me never to come back and to have a good life. Not only did he not want to hear me, Now after inspection of new work preformed, my blinkers, my windshield wipers, And my radio do not work after this third mikey mouse job or fix..whatever you want to call it! Tom had fixed the brake light illumination, but Now more of the same beginning problems have risin. They suck but if you must go there make sure you tell him to call you first before he charges you some BS amount for some BS mickey mouse job. Thanks for nothing Tom, Oh and thanks to the BBB I got my money back.
