Best Auto repair shop
First of all I am a female and I am elderly and I have NEVER been taken advantage of. Precision has been a life saver for me and my cars. I have been going their for over 10+ years. They have given me estimates before performing work and there work is always guarantee. There mechanics know exactly what and how to fix all the problems I have had with my cars. Everyone of the staff are very friendly and helpful. T... view morehey are AAA approved. Clean waiting room with free drinks, and a free courtesy car if needed. I have always been satisfied with their work Thanks Precision Linda Westhoff

Wonderful experience!
It was a great experience from start to finish! The owner chatted with me in the ultra-clean waiting room over gormet coffee. The staff were very knowledgeable and professional. They treated me with respect and offered me pricing options on my tires and brakes. Their warranty is 18 months! My car was washed and right outside the front door for me to leave. I will definitely be back.

I have been in the Auto repair industry for 21 years, serving as mentor, board member and coach
I read Mr. Hashey`s review of Precision Auto and his ""experience"", so I felt compelled to post this thread. First let me expound on my credentials, I started my career with corporate Goodyear and learned ""their"" way of doing business. Their theory, in 1987, was profit, profit, profit, customer service. They were big on product knowledge and sales techniques. Their education system was awesome and intense, aimed a... view moret volume and upselling. This is also what the ""average"" consumer has grown to expect from our often maligned industry. I own my facility in Florida and belong to 3 boards that are sponsored by consumer advocacy groups designed and dedicated to the improvement of industry specific consumer issues. I serve on a National board of Certified Service Centers, with over 2800 members, dedicated to ethical business practices. Mr. Hashey`s issues are not unusual for an ""average"" consumer. The myth of ""taking advantage"" of women is just that, a myth, possibly perpetuated by Service Associates not properly explaining repair needs or procedures. Therefore some of the blame falls on our shoulders for not explaining everything in a language the ""average"" consumer understands. I know Jon Ludwig personally and I have never met anyone so dedicated to just that, explaining things perfectly. In response to Mr. Hashey`s price comparison, all parts aren`t created equally. We, as shop owners, buy only the best quality parts from only the best sources. Most consumer parts stores are DIY parts stores. They offer a low price and to DIY-ers, that?s what they want. Repair facilities have to almost guarantee the safety of your family at highway speeds on all their repairs, while making a profit to cover overhead and expenses. In summary, the biggest single obstacle we as shop owners face is the ""average"" consumer is so used to being lied to and cheated, by everyone from politicians to used car salesmen, that when they aren`t, they are confused. Mr. Hashey appears quite confused.

Best knowledge of latest technology
As a fan of the Tier Mini Cooper Club, I can attest that the folks at Precision know what they`re doing. Most members of the Mini Cooper Club bring their cars to Precision, because the techs are up on the latest technology and can perform all types of performance modifications using the best equipment available! The folks at Precision are wonderful.

Best service
To respond to JHashey`s comments from 1/9/08: We at Precision Automotive Service take our jobs seriously and would never take advantage of a customer. In reviewing Mr. Hashey`s repair order, he came in because there was a ""clunk in the front end, more so when turning left."" We investigated the concern and found that the right front coil spring was broken. The car was not safe in this condition. We recommended ... view morereplacing both springs and struts (shocks), and then performing an alignment. We charged him $42.88 for the time we spent diagnosing the problem. There were no other charges. There was no charge for air put in the tire. We also advised Mr Hashey that if the spring wasn`t repaired, it could puncture the tire and possibly cause an accident. Mr. Hashey declined all repairs!!!!! There`s always one bad apple in the bunch, and this is the one!

Best automotive repair! Great customer service
I have been coming to Precision Automotive for a while because they treat everyone the same. The tech`s are very knowledgeable and work on the cars as if they were their own. They do not push sales, only make recommendations for future planning. The local automotive dealers send their problem cars to Precision as well! They are AWESOME.

THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU
I had my wife drop off our car and she was qouted 1,200 for a new spring and strut. You have to be kidding me. Spring is $109 and the strut is $58 at autozone for my car. They tried to tell her she needed an oil change, more air in the tires (1 labor hour for putting air in tires) and a bunch of nonsense. I went to get the car back telling them it was crazy, and they charged me 46 dollars for the estimate or they... view more wouldnt give the keys over. STAY AWAY. It looks busy but it is mostly elderly people who are probably pursuded by the fact that percision auto looks profession, DONT LET THAT FOOL YOU. I know they saw my wife and thought they could take advantage of the situation. They probably do the same with the elderly customers. STAY AWAY. I warned you.
