Great garage.

The above review must be for a different shop. The owner of Oriental Auto @ 6 Glenville Ter, in Allston is named Mike, not David. Oriental Auto is a terrific garage - they are the most honnest mechanics I know. I`ve brought in a car for pre-purchase inspection - they charged $100 and found that the car`s engine leaked oil (!). There are many other reviews of this place on the cartalk website.

Incompetent and Overpriced

I brought my car in for an inspection. They charged me over 400 dollars for doing very little work. They told me my windshield wiper blades were creating ""streaks"" on my windshield and so they needed to change them. My wipers had worked for the previous 6 years I had the car. So they ""fixed"" my car and a few days later I was driving home and it started snowing. The wipers worked fine for about 10 minutes and ... view moreall of a sudden one of them just stopped moving altogether. I called them up and the owner, David, started yelling at me that his shop would never do that. If an auto shop cannot replace windshield wipers, I refuse to trust them with ANYTHING having to do with my car.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
