Like other reviewers I find the people at AE to be honest and competent. Recently I needed a water pump replaced on my Mercedes and was shocked by the high price quoted for the part. I asked if I could find the part myself and have them put it in. They were happy to do the job and I saved $300. I would never expect a dealer to be so accommodating!

I`ve had three experiences wit...

I`ve had three experiences with Auto Engineering of Lexington and each has, from start to finish, been exceptional. I`ve had major and minor work done. In leaving my car with them the first time, I remember thinking these guys are different...I felt these guys would find the problem and fix it. They did and the cost was as estimated. Yes, it`s a simple story, but I can`t attest to many repairs that have been simp... view morele. Leaving them with the level of confidence and returning to a car without a hint of the problem I came in with is enough for me...two more experiences seals it for me. I`m convinced that the great service and professional dedication I`ve seen is the norm at Auto Engineering. It`s a huge relief to now know where to take my cars for repairs. I highly recommend Auto Engineering of Lexington...it`s where all my cars repairs will be repaired!

AE does great work, especially on foreign cars. They are reasonably priced (especially relative to the dealerships) and they do not try to do work on your car that it doesn?ˆ™t need. About two years ago I was told by a random gas station garage mechanic after a state inspection that the fan belt was cracked. At the recommendation of a friend, I drove the car over to AE. They looked at it and said that they would l... view moreove to replace the fan belt but it looked relatively new and they couldn?ˆ™t find any cracks. When I asked what I owed them for their time, they said we didn?ˆ™t do any work to your car?ˆ¦ you owe us nothing. That was over two years ago and the fan belt is just fine and now they are the only mechanics that touch my car.
