STANDARD AUTO ON SAUK TRAIL AND CHICAGO ROAD IN SOUTH CHICAGO HEIGHTS WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND SELL YOU A LEMON!!! i paid cash in full for a 99 ford taurus, after 2 weeks of suburban driving the engine block cracked. that was in feb 2012 - i still dont have the title to this car because the owner Steve is a sneaky thief who has not paid the taxes on it and i can not get my title to at least sell this peice of tras... view moreh because he is holding the title hostage. when i asked him to fix the car he basically said because i drove it off the lot - it was my problem. i am not a rich person - the money i gave this lying thief was very hard to come by. i saved, skimped and sacrificed to buy a car just to have it unrepairbly break down only after 2 weeks. BUYER BEWARE of this use car dealership - they will take all of your money and leave with a car that wont drive! thier customer service is excellent - until the sale is complete and they have thier money - then they treat you like yesterdays trash! Byron is extreamly rude, Sue is hard to reach (after she gets her commission) and Steve the owner is nasty, rude, greedy and a bold face liar. Learn from my mistake and do not buy here - if i could give Standard Auto zero stars i would because they dont deserve the one star i had to give them in order to post my review. STAY AWAY FROM STANDARD AUTO IN SOUTH CHICAGO HEIGHTS ON SAUK TRAIL AND CHICAGO ROAD!!!
