If I could, I would rate Larry Miller with zero stars! I recently received (2) $500 class action lawsuit rebate certificates that are fully transferable as part of a class action settlement related to misleading gas mileage claims for the Honda Civic Hybrid. Today I walked into Larry Miller and asked the manager if they would allow me to sell this rebate to someone in the store that planned on purchasing or leasi... view moreng a new car. The store manager went to the sales manager and asked me to sit down in a location out of ear shot of their conversation. After their conversation was over, the store manager approached me and took on a hostile tone. He said that I had harassed the sales manager for 40 minutes over the phone recently (we actually had a friendly 2 minute conversation about a month prior) and suggested that I was trying to do something that was unethical and illegal. In reality, I was only trying to find a suitable buyer to take on my transferable $500 vouchers. I had suggested that the buyer could pay me $400 for the $500 voucher. Their purpose in making a scene was to suggest to all of the nearby customers that I was a shady character that couldn`t be trusted. It`s one thing to say no to helping me find a buyer, it`s another thing to inaccurately portray me as a shady character in order to prevent me from redeeming my just compensation! The deceptive manner in which they handled this situation makes me ponder what other shady and deceptive practices they incorporate in their business.
