BEWARE!!!

I took my car in to have the clutch replaced and they quoted me around $700. To save money Jon said bring in your own clutch I`ll do it for 350. So I brought in my own parts and the next day I get a phone call around 8am. He told me I need to go pick up my flywheel and get it resurfaced... A $50 dollar added fee. Then he calles me at 3:30 hey go to honda and pick up transmission fluid they close at 4pm another $30 do... view morellars . So I do that and then wait an hour for my car. The next morning it was LEAKING oil all over my driveway! Took it back and 5 hours later they replaced a seal. I noticed that there was damage to both of my wheel wells and they denied it and will not fix it! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THEY WILL DO A POOR JOB AND CHARGE YOU MORE THEN QUOTED

honest, helpful, and knowledgable

If you`re looking for a good mechanic that you can trust, check out the Meineke in Holyoke. Dave and the guys there are great. I`ve been going to them for almost a year now, and they`ve been incredibly helpful. They caught a few issues before I noticed any problems. For instance, during an oil change they noticed that the boots on my CV axle joints had cracked off, told me that it wasn`t something I needed to rep... view morelace immediately, and described the signs that would let me know when the repair was becoming critical. They were dead on in every regard, which I even had confirmed by a different mechanic (as I was out of state when the repair became necessary). The guys at the Holyoke Meineke show you whatever they end up pulling out of your car and take the time to explain what you`re looking at. And if they can`t figure out what`s wrong with your car, they`re honest enough to tell you and not let you waste money on unnecessary parts & repairs. They`ve gone out of their way to help me out with car issues on numerous occasions, and I`ve seen other customers receiving the same high quality service. I can`t recommend a shop more highly.

Terrible Service

I explained the problem with my brakes and came back in 90 minutes to discover that they didn`t even inspect them, and refused to do so. They claimed that they drove the car and didn`t hear anything, so that was it. I asked them to get the car up and look at the brakes and they wouldn`t do it. It was an appalling waste of my time. I took it to the Meineke in Chula Vista and they fixed my brakes without hesitation... view more (they were under warranty and I wasn`t charged). I recommend avoiding this shop if at all possible.
