For serious collectorsFinal year for the "Plymouth" name plated Prowler.  This one owner, Prowler is offered in like-new condition.  This will be the lowest miles Prowler with most complete provenance you will find anywhere - PERIODGarage kept and covered since purchased new and never seen rain.  Originally purchased as an investment and for display at local shows.  I had not planned to sell for a while, but now needs to go due lack of room.  I would like it to be to someone that will take care of it and hopefully show it for years to come.  PA inspection week of 9-1-14.

Everything works as new.  No stretches or dents.  Undercarriage is immaculate.

Do NOT mistake this care with other run of the mill Prowlers advertised.  Just compare it and look for the provenance.  This one was purchased to be a collector vehicle and taken care of in that manner.  Not a regular driver and certainly not aged as one.  Your investment is a one and original owner vehicle with complete documentation in a garaged and covered for the duration car.

Additional options/features:
- Plymouth Prowler Bra
- Plymouth Prowler car cover with tote bag
- Dealer installed mud flaps, professionally cut per specs.

**** Second to none provenance for collectors**** with original:
- Build Sheet
- "Vehicle Information Plus Summary Report"
- Condition Report - Auto Pickup Report - Reliable Carriers
- Dealer "We Owe" document
- Certificate of Origin
- Shipping Order
- Window sticker
- Odometer disclosure statement
- Brochure
- *** Exclusive *** Dealer spec sheets
- *** Exclusive *** Dealer color select (VERY RARE as according to official Plymouth documentation, which comes with the car, the 2000 Prowler was NOT offered in yellow.  After researching with Chrysler the best explanation as there was 1999 paint that was used in some of the 2000 vehicles).

Feel free to email any question as I am the original owner.  Willing to talk, but kindly do not expect miracles.  There is not another Prowler with supporting documentation like this anywhere.  Additional pictures of car and provenance available via email request.

Car is sold as is and where is.  Purchaser will pick-up or have shipped at their cost.  Payment by certified check.

Bill of sale will be provided and clear title.

'71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible sells for $3.5M [w/video]

Mon, 16 Jun 2014

We're plenty used to seeing classic cars selling for millions of dollars. It's just that they're usually European: Ferraris, Bugattis, Mercedes and the like. There are some rare American exceptions, usually wearing the names Duesenberg or Shelby. But what we have here is the most expensive Chrysler product ever sold at auction.
The vehicle in question is a Plymouth Barracuda - specifically a 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible, chassis #BS27R1B315367 - that Mecum Auctions just sold after eight solid minutes of feverish bidding for a high bid of $3.5 million at its auction in Seattle, Washington. That figure positively eclipses the $2.2 million paid for a strikingly similar Hemi Cuda (chassis #BS27R1B269588) fetched nearly seven years ago in Scottsdale and another that was the first muscle car to break the million-dollar mark in 2002.

SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own

Wed, 19 Dec 2012

Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.
