Low miles!!  (when this truck was contracted to a pipeline welding company it sat at the office yard for 2 years when pipelineing was slow)

This heavy duty Ford F-450 has an excellent turning radius and its GVWR is 15,000#. This is a really nice truck for towing any bumper hitch or any gooseneck trailer...it has a ball and a large trailer light plug....works excellent for the family RV!!

Go to work tomorrow in the oil fields or on a pipe line job!!

or be the top dog at any contsruction site

or the best "hand" on any farm or ranch!!

Or just keep this truck around for an "extra" when and if you need that special truck for a special job.

This excellent running and sharp looking work truck has a Lincoln 250 amp welder with all the bells and whistles,; comes with welding helmets, gloves, grinders, hammers, ready to go to work. The air cmpressor is powered by a 5.5 horse Honda engine that starts on first pull almost every time, 50' of air hose, various air tools and accessories included, (3 packrats and other boxes to hold all your tools. this truck is awesome and its a blast putting all the tools and equipment in its own special place,) Everything works good....you will love the packrat boxes(the large one on the drivers side opens hard; mostly because its loaded heavy, but it does open and close tough. )

there is also a large fire extingusiher and a 5 gallon safety can mounted on the rear.

The flatbed has custom made can holders and a spool for barbed wire for fencing, heavy duty wood side boards.

Dont miss this "hard -to-find" set up and its ready to go to work. There is a set of work lights mounted and wired to shine to the rear or sides for working at night.

I guarantee this description to be accurate! Should you get here and feel this truck to be anything LESS than described, I will happily refund your deposit and pay your fuel costs home. It's that simple... You don't like it... You don't own it!

Ford F-150 RaptorTrax is Ken Block's ultimate snowmobile

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

Even when Ken Block isn't starring in the latest Gymkhana video or tearing up Global RallyCross courses, he's finding new ways to redefine "awesome" as it applies to motorsports. For evidence of this, look no further than Block's latest Monster-badged creation, the Ford F-150 RaptorTrax.
Billed as the "world's fastest snowcat," the RaptorTrax started life as a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, and then a set of Mattracks were put in place where the truck's bead-locked wheels and meaty rubber once resided. The goal was to create a truck that made it easier - and presumably more fun - for Block and his buddies to hit the slopes on their snowboards. Aside from the obvious track upgrades, this truck also received a Whipple supercharger, full roll cage, Recaro seats, an in-bed snowboard rack, a roof basket and a rear-mounted winch - you know, just in case something or someone actually manages to get this truck stuck.
The RaptorTrax will be on display later this week at the Winter X Games in Apsen, CO, but we'll have to wait until next winter for a full Block-worthy video of the truck. A full press release from Hoonigan Racing Division is posted below, and a high-res image can be found by clicking above.

Last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible nets $500k for charity at Barrett-Jackson [w/video]

Tue, 13 Aug 2013

The last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible was sold on Saturday at a Barrett-Jackson auction in Reno, Nevada, for $500,000. Ford donated the Mustang to be auctioned for charity, and all of the money is going to the Brain Injury Association of America.
Parnelli Jones, winner of the 1963 Indianapolis 500, was there on behalf of the BIAA with his son Page, who suffered a brain injury in a sprint car crash in 1994. The bidding increased quickly, reaching $500k in no time, spreading a bit more hope to people who live with brain injuries.
The winning bidder will be able to choose the GT500's exterior, interior and stripe colors, and is scheduled to receive the car, signed by Parnelli Jones in appreciation for the donation, by the end of 2013. Watch the video below to see the auction-block action.

Ford Explorer, Expedition next to go aluminum?

Sun, 13 Apr 2014

Ford made some serious waves when it unveiled the latest F-150. Instead of making its bodywork out of steel, like just about every other truck on the market, Ford went with aluminum. And you can bet the F-150 won't be the last Ford model to go with the lightweight alloy construction, either.
Our compatriots at Edmunds report that Dearborn is considering replacing two of its most popular SUVs with aluminum versions. One candidate is the Expedition, which would make sense considering that the current model (like the two preceding generations and the fullsize Bronco before it) is based on the F-150's underpinnings. Another is the Explorer, which was traditionally based on the Ranger pickup but went with a car-like unibody chassis in its current iteration. If the Explorer does go the way of aluminum, don't expect it to be a part of its very next update, which is likely due too soon for such major changes.
It would stand to reason that, if the Expedition were to go aluminum, so would the next-generation Lincoln Navigator. Ditto the MKT together with the Explorer. But those aren't likely to be the only models in contention for aluminum construction. Like any other automaker, Ford is under pressure to steadily reduce its carbon emissions and improve its fuel economy figures, prompting it to look at a whole range of measures - including more efficient engines, lower rolling-resistance tires, active aerodynamics and lightweight construction. Expect aluminum to play a big part in that equation moving forward.
