IF YOU ARE INTERESTED EMAIL ME AT: celinacmmalaterre@grimsbyfans.com . I am the original owner of this terrific crew cab, long bed, turbo diesel truck. Ordered directly from the
factory, it contains all of the manufacturer’s options you want including power moonroof, memory group, remote
start system, rear view camera and beepers, tailgate step, heated seats, rear locking electronic axle, FX4 off road
package with skid plates, tow package, roof lights, extra heavy duty alternator and dual batteries, and factory bed
extender. Upon arrival from the factory, this F250 was then driven to Outlaw Offroad, where its superb technicians
added a 6 inch lift, upgrade coil springs, arm drop kit, gas shocks, 37 inch Toyo MT Open Country tires, 20 inch
BMF wheels, and AMP Research's fantastic full length hidden electronic step. From there, an OC Bedliner was sprayed
with poly coating and bull ring sets added for enhanced usability. All resulted in a truck that not only looks
great, but possesses improved drivability and more compliant suspension, resulting in better highway manners with
no compromise. MSRP on this truck was $60,260, Oultaw’s improvements totaled $7559, and OC Bedliner, $595. With
taxes and fees, this truck would cost you today $75,000. Used primarily over its 4 year life for round trips to a
second home in Big Bear California, this truck has seen no abuse or even heavy use, and has just 16,000 miles. It
has never been used as a work vehicle. It has never been involved in any accident. It has never been off-roaded
And, thanks to 3 years of drought, it hasn’t been driven in snow or inclement weather. It is still in all
respects a brand new truck, needs absolutely nothing, and better yet, comes with an authentic FORD extended
warranty. Sadly, my teenage children have grown up the last two years, now have cars and significant others, and
no longer want to go to Big Bear with Mom and Dad, leaving Big Red largely unused and the cabin for sale. While I
will miss driving and even just looking at this beautiful truck, it needs a new home, preferably with a new family
or professional that will love it and take care of it. This is no cheap truck, and won’t be sold in that manner
either, so only serious buyers please. On the other hand, you won’t find a nicer pre-owned truck that is
absolutely beautiful, has no hidden defects or problems, and is nonetheless covered by a full factory warranty for
years to come. And yes, it drives like a dream at 5 mph or 85 mph. This vehicle is fully documented. It is sold
in “as is” condition.

Ford ditching Microsoft in favor of BlackBerry QNX for next-gen Sync?

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

Ask the average consumer - at least, those who follow the goings-on in the automotive industry - which carmaker they'd most closely associate Microsoft, and the answer you'd most likely get would be Ford. The Blue Oval automaker, after all, was at the forefront of bringing Microsoft technology into cars with its pioneering Sync system, and, though reality didn't turn out as such, Ford's CEO was recently touted as a potential future head of the Redmond-based software giant. But that relationship, according to the latest reports, could be coming to an end.
Alan Mullaly kiboshed the idea of leaving Dearborn for Redmond, but more importantly Ford is tipped to be ditching Microsoft in developing its next-generation Sync system. In its place, Ford is expected to partner with BlackBerry's QNX division.
Now, before you go balking "BlackBerry?! But they're finished!" consider that QNX is (or at least was) an independent entity that Research In Motion (as BlackBerry's Ontario-based parent company was then known) just happened to have bought back in 2010. QNX provides control systems to everything from nuclear power plants and UAVs to automakers like Audi, BMW and Porsche.

2014 Ford Fiesta ST priced from $21,400* [w/poll]

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

The 2014 model year brings a whole host of changes to Ford's Fiesta B-Segment fighter, the most important of which (to our enthusiast eyes, anyway) is the addition of a potent new ST model. The US-spec hot hatch was first shown at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show last November, and thanks to Ford's build-and-price site, we've now learned that the Fiesta ST will slide in at $21,400 when it goes on sale later this year (*not including $795 for destination).
Under the hood of the ST is a turbocharged 1.6-liter EcoBoost inline-four good for 197 horsepower and 214 pound-feet of torque, mated solely to a six-speed manual transmission. Ford hasn't released performance data on its pint-sized puncher just yet, but know that these numbers make the Fiesta ST ever-so-slightly more powerful than the larger Volkswagen GTI while returning an estimated 34 miles per gallon on the highway.
Elsewhere in the lineup, the standard Fiesta also gets a smattering of improvements for the 2014 model year, including a new 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine and revised exterior styling. Pricing for the 2014 Fiesta sedan starts at $14,000, with the five-door model adding $600 to that number (again excluding the $795 destination fee).

Wrap up some fun with Ford's commercial vehicle configurator

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

Ford has combined multiple steps into one with its commercial vehicle configurator, which allows users to choose, design and place orders for the Transit, Transit Connect, E-Series vans and F-Series Super Duty trucks.
The most interesting part of the new configurator is a fairly robust design tool. Users are able to choose paint color and wrap the vehicle, and then create their own graphics. No materials are needed - Ford provides numerous background textures, text boxes, plenty of shapes and 20 categories of images including floral, construction, plumbing and skylines. Self-created designs or images can be uploaded to the system as well.
We played around with the design tool a bit and uploaded our own image to create the Autoblog Podcast Live van you see here. Feel free to check out the configurator and make your own design.
