What you are viewing is a 1970 Ford F100. This has been sitting for atleast 5 years. Unhooked the fuel line at the fuel pump, put a fresh battery in it, shot some starting fluid in it and it fired right up and sounded quiet. I have not driven it. The transmission has to be shifted by the rod under the hood. It will not move at the steering column. It feels like it might be frozen up(probably from sitting). The body of the truck is in very good condition. It had a slide in camper from the bed when new, making the inside of the bed virtually dent and rust free. The inside of the truck is also very clean. It still has the plastic on the center seat belts. The truck is equipt with factory air conditioning and power steering. There is a dent in the grill by the left hand marker lamp. It does not have a tailgate. It does have an aux fuel tank in the bed. The only real rust on the truck is on the front of the hood. The slide in camper covered the majority of the hood and the front end of the truck was sticking out of the barn, causing some rust to form on the front of the hood. The bottom of the doors are solid. The bottom of the cab looks very solid. It does have some rust on the right hand air inlet duct inside the wheel well. Looks like it would be a very easy fix. I install the wheels and tires that you see on it because the tires that were on it were dry rotted. These wheels are aluminum wheels off of a mid 90's Ford pickup. I was going to part it out, but the truck is to nice to do that. If you are the winning bidder, you will have to trailer or have towed as your expense. I can put a battery in it and start it so you can hear it run. I did not try to drive it so I do not know the condition of the brakes. The steering linkage seems to be good and solid.
AGAIN IF YOU ARE THE WINNING BIDDER, I REQUIRE A $500 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT PAID WITHIN 48 HOURS OF END OF AUCTION. BALANCE TO BE PAID AT FULL AT PICKUP WITH CASH. I DO HAVE A CLEAN OHIO TITLE.

Ford Explorer is America's new favorite police car
Mon, 24 Mar 2014There is a new vehicle that you should keep an eye out for when you're going a little too fast down the Interstate. Ford's Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility was the bestselling new law enforcement model in the country last year, and signs show that won't be changing anytime soon.
Ford sold 14,086 Interceptor Utilities in 2013, up 140% from the year before, and 10,897 Interceptor Sedans, up 31%, according to USA Today. Overall, the brand's police sales were up 48 percent, and they were enough to boost the company's law enforcement vehicle market share by 9 points to nearly 50 percent.
The success comes just a few years after it made the decision to finally retire the long-serving Crown Victoria-based cruiser for two more modern vehicles. "We had to reinvent the category," said Chris Terry of Ford Communications to Autoblog. The automaker had to convince police departments that a unibody chassis without a V8 could perform better than a model that had been a law enforcement staple for years.
2015 Ford Mustang to make world debut on Dec. 5 [w/video]
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Between a bevvy of spy shots, speculative renders and insidery images from the halls of Car and Driver, we've got a pretty decent idea of what the 2015 Ford Mustang might look like. Still, we're excited to see the real deal as soon as possible.
Turns out that Ford has told us just when that first official look might come, too, although it has chosen somewhat of a backdoor fashion for dropping the news.
The video below popped up on the Ford Mustang YouTube channel this morning, promoting a social media effort called #MustangInspires on. The video and hashtag ask fans of the pony car to share pictures of the car - or "photographic stories of inspiration" - on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. But the truly interesting part of the video description is that which mentions taking "the cover off the all-new Mustang" on December 5. Consider our calendars marked.
40+ cars that barely avoid the gas guzzler tax
Thu, 24 Jul 2014
The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.
