2006 Armored Ford E-350 Armored Van on 2040-cars
Dayton, Ohio, United States
This is a 2006 E-350 Ford Armored Van.
This Van weighs app 9000lbs and is fully armored (level 4). The van has 20,900 original miles and is is great condition (it has brand new tires that we just put on) We have put less than 900 miles on it since we have owned it. It was originally used as a check cashing van in California before we purchased it in 2009. Note: The 2 check cashing windows have been covered over with sheet metal on the out side but can easily be removed if one wishes to use the windows again. This van sold new for over $100,000.00 and reconditioned ones are selling for $68,000.00 This is a great value and is perfect for someone who needs extra security. It can be converted for personal use at the fraction of the cost one would pay for a personal armored car. Business men, Prepper's or Survivalist's ( crack dealers LOL) this is the Armored Van you have been looking for. Attention: Texas Car dealers, this is the perfect item to take and sell in Mexico and make a pocket full of profit on. If you are interested please call 937-436-2852 and ask for JohnSR. |

J Mays on the 2015 Ford Mustang
Thu, 05 Dec 2013J Mays, head of design at Ford, may be retiring from the company after 16 years, but not before showing the world his swan song: the 2015 Mustang. Ford officially revealed its new coupe and convertible to the public at events around the world on Thursday, including a live unveiling on ABC's Good Morning America, and Mays was in attendance at the automaker's home event in Dearborn, MI, which is where we caught up with him for a few words about his new baby.
"It's a joy" to design the Mustang, Mays told Autoblog, adding that this sixth-generation coupe is his "favorite design so far." Of course, the 2015 model takes cues from all of the generations that came before it, but Mays said it was important to edit down the specific elements from previous models, leaving just enough off to let the customer "participate and fill in the blanks."
"If it doesn't sell itself, you probably aren't a Mustang fan."

2014 Ford Mustang GT
Fri, 17 May 2013I was more than a year removed from my last experience with the Mustang GT and its delicious 5.0 V8 when this new 2014 example rolled up to my driveway recently. Good weather and a planned road trip across the state meant that I would get plenty of seat time in this conservatively specified example, too. In total, I logged about 400 miles in a week of driving - not a lot for some of you super commuters out there, but quite a lot for this work-from-home journalist.
The basic formula of the 5.0 has stayed the same for 2014. The 2013 model year saw a number of updates to keep the Mustang fresh until it's replaced with an all-new generation for 2015. So, for its bon voyage tour, the fifth-generation Pony Car has seen only a few modifications: a couple of new paint colors (Oxford White and Ruby Read Metallic), trim and wheel revisions and, sadly, the deletion of the Boss 302 from the Ford lineup. However, while the limited-edition Boss is likely to reappear sometime after the gen-six Mustang makes its debut in 2015, the GT Track Package cars like the one I tested provide at least a partial solution for those looking for hot laps.
