THIS CAR GETS MORE LOOKS THAN ANYTHING I'VE DRIVEN !!!!!!!!!

THIS IS A BIG DOLLAR CAR WHEN DONE !!!!!!!!

Running driving project car.  Starts right up hot or cold. New battery.

Looks to be a clone from many many years ago from what the vin

numbers say. To many irons in the fire and no time.  Someone is gonna have a fun car here after

restoration.  Big Block (engine size unknown) #'s found on the block are  1400  C24.  The motor in this car

sounds ABSOLUTLY     " A W E S O M E ".  A nice lumpy cam and a beautiful sounding motor.   running on fresh gas in a temporary bottle as I didn't want to get any dirt in the carb from any old gas in the tank.

I would leave

the motor the way it is and make the body nice and have a wicked charger.  This car has been off the road

for many years so I would go thru it and make it what you like.  Since I've had it I've driven it around alittle on a few

occasions but with a low brake pedal.  Transmission has a manual shift body and seems to work very nice.

Power steering and the original am radio.  There is a picture of some old things I found in the car that are dating back to when the car was used daily.  The car has a tach dash with gauges and a 150 MPH  speedo.

The car had a new front right  floor  pan put in it  along with a R torsion bar frame piece. The drivers side will need a repair on the torsion bar frame piece as pictured.  The rest of the floor pans look useable atleast with minor work. .  The trunk pan should be changed.   The outside sheetmetal will need some repair or replacement.  Come look at the car to be sure you like it. You can also get an independent inspection co. to come check it out for you if that's easier.  As with any old car the speedo has probably been turned over with the age so correct mileage is not known.

I also have a partial build sheet for the car.  For ownership transfer  I have the last Rhode island registration non title state)  and bill of sale from when the last guy had it on the road many years ago.  If you want anything more than that you could go thru "Broadway title" and they will hook you up so you can  get plates.

selling as is with NO RESERVE.  a 300. paypal deposit due at auction end. Balance to be paid in cash in person or bank to bank wire or check.  Any check must clear my bank before car or paperwork leaves. My bank tells me this could be about 5 to 7 business days.

Dodge offering novel 1-year lease on '14 Challenger and Charger models

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

Dodge is just days away from unveiling refreshed versions of the Charger and Challenger at the 2014 New York Auto Show, models promising updated styling and new powertrain options. Depending on how you look at it, the company is either so confident in its forthcoming 2015 models that it's offering an interesting Double-Up lease deal on the current vehicles, or it's so eager to clear out existing stock that it's resorting to novel lease deals. In any case, what they present is an interesting scenario, one which allows buyers to get the existing model right now, and then trade up to the facelifted 2015 models in one year.
Starting April 17, when the refreshed cars debut through the end of August, buyers can lease a 2014 Charger or Challenger for one year and exchange it for a three-year lease on a 2015 model next year, with no additional money down and the same monthly payment. Customers can even switch vehicles when the new lease starts. If drivers want to buy the '15, they get $1,000 off the purchase price. To be eligible, both leases must use the same dealership and be financed through Chrysler Capital. The Double-Up deal excludes the SRT versions of both cars and Charger SE models.
To offset the flood of one-year-old models coming back to dealerships, Dodge has struck a deal with rental car agency Enterprise, which has agreed to buy them all. "One-year leases are highly unusual in the industry," said company spokesperson Ralph Kisiel, and the fleet sale deal is what makes it possible.

2014 Challenger R/T Shaker, Mopar '14 Challenger bring back iconic hood

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

Enamored of the Dodge Challenger but wish you could get one with a shaker hood? We've got good news, because Dodge and Mopar have teamed up to bring it back.
The 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker packs the same 5.7-liter Hemi V8 as the standard Challenger R/T, but upgrades the business end with a through-the-hood exposed cold-air intake system. The retro hood scoop protrudes from the center of the hood in satin black (matching the decklid spoiler) to feed the Hemi and shakes with the engine just like the original from 1970. The Shaker model also comes with a Super Track Pak that adds a new steering rack, brake linings, shocks and 20-inch Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car rubber. You can also shut off the stability management system completely in this car. A series of interior and exterior trim enhancements round out the look. The whole package adds $2,500 to the price of a Challenger R/T Classic for an all-in MSRP of $36,995.
In case that's not enough, Dodge is also offering a limited-edition Mopar Challenger that follows the 2010 Mopar Challenger, 2011 Mopar Charger, 2012 Mopar 300 and 2013 Mopar Dart. Limited to just 100 examples, the 2014 Mopar Challenger gets the same Shaker hood intake, unique graphics and wheels, an enhanced interior and a long list of optional extras from the Mopar parts catalog. Dodge isn't saying just yet how much the Mopar Challenger will cost, but you can bet it will command a considerable premium for the exclusivity alone.

Challenger A/T Unlimited Concept could be your next Hellcat-powered ORV

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

This past June I spent an excellent day hanging out with Joey Ruiter, driving and discussing his Reboot Buggy project. Before heading home, I let him know that he was more than welcome to keep me abreast of whichever new automotive project he'd get into. You can never have too many car designers and one-off fabricators in your Rolodex, right?
Ruiter recently made good with the follow-up, emailing me with details on this Dodge Challenger A/T Untamed Concept that pushes a lot of hot buttons for the muscle car and off-roading enthusiasts.
This all-terrain Mopar is a lot more than a Challenger body dropped on a truck chassis, too. A materialized version of the A/T would included a completely new, long-travel suspension, skid plates, body armor and rock sliders, and obviously flared fenders to help accommodate a hellacious set of off-road-ready tires. The dramatically revised underpinnings would be topped with a slick graphics package and a killer lower light bar, all making the A/T look quite cohesive in its own, radical way. And the result would be a car no longer limited to mere road-driving.
