This auction is for a 1970 Dodge Charger project or parts car. To give a little history on the car. The yellow section of the car (cabin) was originally a 1969 Dodge Charger that I sold over 25 years ago. It originally was a teal colored car painted yellow and was on the road until a few years ago. It was involved in a high speed accident and was struck side ways in the rear. The prior owner settled with insurance then stripped a lot of parts from the car. He took the front fenders, hood, both doors, dash frame and VIN, fender tag and interior and some glass. I purchased the rest. I had a 1970 Go Mango Charger parts car that the under carriage was completely gone. I had intentions of making this the 1970 car. So it now has the 70 dash and VIN and fender tag, the front fenders, hood and front bumper assembly. I also cut up the 1970 Charger for the rear top surround and tail panel that would be installed on this car. Of course you will still need 2 new sections of frame rails, trunk pan, outer wheel houses and 2 new quarters. The floors in this car are still real decent. There is a patch panel on the drivers side front floor pan but looking from underneath the original floor is still there and looks fine. All factory undercoating still under the car. Front engine compartment, firewall and front frame rails are all nice. Rockers are decent. The sheet metal does have some dings and flaws but all panels can be straitened out fairly easily. Rear frame rails where they attach to the floor and go past the rear end are still nice. So you can easily attach another set and start the build. The car has the original 318 V-8 Automatic Trans, Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes and was running when we parked it but now has stuck from sitting. I cant believe it is stuck too bad as it was only a few years ago. I pulled the plugs and put in some penetrating oil. I had a decent windshield so I just set it in place and taped it in. All the rest of the glass is in place. I know it is a lot of work but the car can be built again or use it for those hard to find parts. What you see is what you get. I do have a few other parts that I will offer to the winning bidder should they want to purchase them. I have a nice solid trunk lid, 2 nice 1970 tail lights complete, some interior trim, 4 extra doors and misc parts. Call me and we can make a deal for everything. I am including a drive shaft, some sections of wire harness, rear bumper with brackets (does have a couple of bumps), whats left of the old tail panel and whatever else I can find to include. Please, bid only if you intend to follow through with the sale if you have under 20 feedback contact us prior to bidding so that we know your intentions are true. Sold on a dealer bill of sale. If you need a title in your state I am willing to register the car and with that and our dealer transfer paperwork you will receive a title in your state. It will be an additional $150 should you need this service. If you need more info or pics feel free to call or email us 1-207-324-5568 Days or 1-207-432-2862. $500 non-refundable deposit required within 24 hours after the sale. we can store the car here until time of pickup as long as the car is paid for in advance.

2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit prepares to keep Hellcats in line

Wed, 13 Aug 2014

Earlier today, Dodge pulled the wraps off its 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat - a 707-horsepower sedan capable of sprinting to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and reaching a top speed of 204 mph. Naturally, the car debuted in a bright shade of pull-me-over red, so it was fitting, then, that Dodge also brought its newly updated 2015 Charger Pursuit to keep everything under control.
No, cops won't be able to spec their Charger cruisers with the 707-hp Hellcat engine (oh man, imagine the chase scenes...), but law enforcement officials will be able to choose from either a 3.6-liter V6 or 5.7-liter Hemi V8, producing 292 hp and 370 hp, respectively. V8 models can be ordered with all-wheel drive, and Dodge estimates that with either engine, the Charger Pursuit can achieve up to 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode).
Other updates for 2015 include improved braking power, a seven-inch display in the instrument cluster, a five-inch display in the center stack, and a new vehicle systems interface that could make it easier for police squads to install computer and radio equipment.

2014 Dodge Durango leaks ahead of NY rollout

Wed, 27 Mar 2013

Even though Chrysler will reportedly discontinue the Dodge Durango after the current model's lifespan - said to be around 2016 - that isn't stopping the automaker from improving its full-size, three-row SUV. The vehicle won't debut at the New York Auto Show until tomorrow, but images are already leaking out ahead of the embargo lift, and they show that the 2014 model is getting even more aggressive styling to go with more technology inside and out.
Dodge limited its early press shots of the new Durango to just the R/T trim level, but this new look adds a meaner look to this model with more dramatic projector-beam headlights along with a "floating" crosshair grille and a restyled fascia. At the rear of the Durango, LED racetrack taillights show a family resemblance to the Charger and Dart, while a new rear fascia adds to the styling while also allowing for an integrated trailer hitch.
On the tech side, the instrument panel looks to have been redesigned to include a standard seven-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) gauge cluster, and it also appears as if Chrysler's well-liked UConnect system has been updated with the 8.4-inch touchscreen found in other Chrysler vehicles. The 2013 model's conventional console shifter has been replaced by a rotary knob for gear selection, suggesting that there are transmission changes afoot as well. We'll have more details when the silks slide off this big boy tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Dodge to reveal Hellcat-powered Challenger in Detroit?

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

On top of all the other performance car debuts slated for next week's Detroit Auto Show, we might be able to add one more to the list - the new, supercharged Hellcat V8 from Chrysler. According to new reports, the rumored 640-horsepower mill is likely to cross the Motor City stage in the engine bay of a Dodge Challenger.
As AllPar points out, though, there may be more news than just the fire-breathing engine. While we've seen spy photos of the Hellcat testing under the hood of the current Challenger, there's a very fair chance that it won't arrive until the muscle car is refreshed later this year. The question now is whether that refresh will be shown off alongside the new engine in Detroit, or if it'll be saved, perhaps for the New York Auto Show.
Other details dug up by AllPar include potential transmissions for the supercharged engine - the Mopar-minded site is expecting an eight-speed automatic or a Tremec six-speed manual. Prices, meanwhile, could be in the same elevated range as the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, at $70,000 to $80,000.
