1999 Dodge Ram Work Van 2500 Series Work Van 8 Lugs on 2040-cars

Year:1999 Mileage:138000
Location:

1999 Dodge Ram 2500 series 8 lug plain work van, 318 dodge magnuim motor with 149,000 miles on it, the motor has alot of power, automatic transmission with overdrive to get better gas mileage on the highways, gets between 15 to 22 mpg, Tilt steering wheel, am/fm radio and the volume will crank very loud . I am the second owner since the van was new, it was bought new at Shoeders in Rhinelander by Julinski plumbing in Minocqua WI. and has been serviced on time and very well by T&T automotive in Minocqua Wisconsin, they will have all the service records that was done to the van there, fresh oils from bumper to bumper, the rear differential has new fluid in it also, i got the truck at 135,000 miles and have taken trips to Chicago and back with no problems with the van, recent work done to the van has been a all new Interstate Battery at $140 bucks, it has started every time in this recent cold weather we have been having, a recent new water pump i put on myself, recent all new 10 ply LT tires the receipt is in the glove box for $600 dollars for the tires and mounting and balancing, new front brake pads with all new double piston front rotors, that alone was $350 in parts, all new transmission fluid in it, a complete transmission flush was $240, recent tune up with AC Delco spark plugs and a recent new air filter, I also put front grease buddy bearings on the front wheels so the front wheel bearings can be greased often, i have only used lucas high performance wheel bearing grease on it, The front end is tight no rattle noises at all. You can just get in this van and drive anywhere you want it is ready to go, just had a motor oil change with castrol high mileage GTX motor oil, and has a full tank of gas in it, the only reason i am selling it is because i recently had a big win at the area casino and i went out and bought a newer truck, this van was and is my daily driver van until the winning at the casino. the bads, it is rusty but i am a body man and when i do the body work in spring the price will go up, the drivers seat is ripped i have been looking for a matching seat but with no luck yet, and the right rear passenger side brakes just recently started to squeal a little bit, the brake pad is probably glazed and just needs to be taken apart and sanded down with some sand paper and the brake dust cleaned out and put back together and the squeeling will stop, It does have a dent in the front end of the drivers door that was put on there before i got it because somebody left the door open and backed into something with the door, but the door opens and closes just fine. its just a plain work van no seats in the back it just has a black floor mat in the back, it has a tow hitch on it with a light plug in, it will haul allot because it has the 2500 suspension with the 8 lug LT wheels, right now i have 1300 pounds of cement in the back and $80 dollars in gas in it at a full tank and the truck barely sags down in the back, so it will take another 1000 pounds on top of that easy, it kelly blue books at in fair condition at $1780. It is rusty but very trusty and if your looking for a new van then this isnt the van for you. this would be a excellent work van for somebody. there is nothing to hide you can run a car fax on the VIN if you want to. 2B7JB21YXXK548451 on the title it says the gross Vehicle weight is 6000. you can email, text or call 715-892-6018 the van will be sold as is. The van is located in Northern Wisconsin a hour north of Wausau Wisconsin. If it needs to be shipped the buyer will have to set it all up, and i will sell it only within the USA only.

Dodge not being dropped by Chrysler, CEO reaffirms

Mon, 16 Sep 2013

Dodge isn't going anywhere. Despite some rumor and speculation over the future of the crosshair grille and the cars that wear it, Dodge brand boss, Tim Kuniskis, sat down with TheDetroitBureau.com, explaining that the marque isn't going anywhere. His sentiments echo those of SRT boss Ralph Gilles, who told a group of enthusiasts in July that "Dodge is here to stay!"
Dodge's death won't be "a part of a master plan to consolidate brands," Kuniskis told TheDetroitBureau.com. Instead, the brand, which is ultimately under the command of Fiat/Chrysler CEO, Sergio Marchionne, will likely ditch some of its badge-engineered models, like the Dodge Grand Caravan. A more focused Dodge, which was something Gilles has already hinted at, will likely see it exploring areas of the market that haven't been exploited by other Chrysler brands.
Kuniskis, not surprisingly, wasn't willing to delve into any detailed product plans, telling TDB that the size of the brand's lineup "remains to be seen." Regardless of how big the brand actually ends up being (it is presently Chrysler's volume brand - and not by a little), hopefully the statements from Kuniskiss can put the rumors of a Dodge closure to bed.

2014 Dodge Durango Ron Burgundy ads already have 2.7M views [w/videos]

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

The guy who once made the Dodge Stratus a punchline of sorts is now a spokesman for the 2014 Dodge Durango, and the move appears to be paying off handsomely for Dodge. Will Ferrell, acting as 1970s-era TV news personality Ron Burgundy, has teamed up with the automaker for co-branded advertisements between the refreshed 2014 Durango and Ferrell's new movie, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Like Ferrell's fictional character, the ads are outrageous, flamboyant and a bit random. They're also successful: Automotive News says that more than 2.7 million people have already watched the videos since they debuted on October 5.
Those views are similar to the numbers that AN's top viral video of the year (e.g. Volkswagen's "Get Happy" Super Bowl ad) received, but there will eventually be as many as 70 videos comprising the Burgundy-Durango spots. According to the report, the videos were created primarily as a viral campaign online, although some are airing on television, too. For Dodge's part, the cost of the videos was significantly lower than a usual television campaign thanks to the fact that Ferrell wasn't paid for the spots since they were made in cooperation with promotional efforts for his new movie.
We've already posted a few of the videos in our previous post, but scroll down for several more - and head over to Adweek for a little added background on how these spots came to be.

Chrysler Group moves around execs in wake of recent departure

Tue, 16 Apr 2013

Chrysler is busy shuffling executives around in the wake of Ram head Fred Diaz's departure. The automaker has named Reid Bigland (pictured, right) as Diaz's successor in the role of president and CEO of Ram, though Bigland will continue his duties as the head of US sales and the president and CEO of Chrysler Canada. Bigland first came to Chrysler in 2006 from Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation, so the guy knows a thing or two about trucks.
Meanwhile, Timothy Kuniskis will take over as president and CEO of Dodge. Previously, he served as the head of Fiat in North America and has been with Chrysler in one capacity or another since 1992. His old title now falls to Jason Stoicevich, who will also continue to work as the director of the automaker's California Business Center. Finally, Bruno Cattori will take over as the president and CEO of Chrysler Mexico.
Diaz left his position to take over as a divisional vice president of sales and marketing with Nissan. You can read the full press release on the Chrysler personnel changes below for more information.
