Here is a Limited Production car built for Chrysler by Maserati. The TC is a two seater roadster convertible with hard top for winter driving. Fully loaded with all the options listed above. As they made a limited production of these cars from 1989-1991 the drive train and electrical are all Chrysler. For the most part getting parts for the car's maintenance are available, don't let name worry you yet have a very comfortable ride with the stability of a sports car! I bought this car 3 yrs ago from Denver Co and drove it home. After checking it over and putting on new tires I drove it to Detroit to the Hot Rod Pro Tour. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere! The only options that do not function is the A\C which can be converted to the new Freon and the front speaker. To my knowledge everything is in working order. I bought this car thinking I would use it as a daily drive but have other cars that I used instead. I'm selling this car because I have to many cars to maintain. As I put a scratch on the lower left door and small scratch on the roof removing it the body is in great shape. The driver's seat shows wear from getting in and out, very normal on these cars. The convertible top is perfect, no tears, glass rear window. I also have a Chrysler AM\FM CD radio, plug and play that goes with the car. When I bought the car the owner had a valve job and new timing belt installed prior to selling it to me. Small number of 2013 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger models recalled
Sun, 24 Feb 2013A small number of units of the 2013 Chrysler 200 (inset) and 2013 Dodge Avenger are being recalled over a broken control valve in the fuel tank assembly. The potential 1,785 sedans were manufactured late last year, and if affected with a broken control valve could suffer from stalling or fuel leakage.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notes that the recall should begin next month, at which time owners can take their cars to dealers for repair free of charge. The full release with more information is just below.
Chrysler's completely redesigned 200 caught totally uncovered
Fri, 13 Dec 2013Preparing for a big debut at the Detroit Auto Show next month, the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 was out for a late-night photo shoot fully undisguised, and our spy shooters were there to capture its all-new design completely uncovered. While there's no camouflage, the cover of darkness proved to be almost as effective, but we still get a good idea of what this former sore spot in the brand's lineup will look like after its clean-sheet redesign.
The first thing we notice is the stylish four-door-coupe roofline doing its best to impersonate something like the Audi A7, or maybe the Volkswagen CC. The front-end styling is a departure from recent Chrysler designs with narrow headlights and an equally short, chrome-trimmed grille. In profile, the bullet-nosed 200 is somewhat reminiscent of the Tesla Model S. This new design language should definitely help the 200 get noticed in a segment filled with hot sellers like the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, as well as more stylish offerings like the Ford Fusion and Mazda6.
Our spies also caught up with the 200 testing in daylight and got some good shots of the interior. The instrument panel design looks similar to what is found in the Dodge Dart, including the oversized instrument gauges and possibly even the LED accent lighting. We would have to assume - and hope - this prototype is a test model due to its small touchscreen display, as Chrysler's 8.4-inch screen would look much better in its place. The center stack and console are clean with minimal buttons and knobs, but we do see a rotary gear selector, which may confirm reports from last year that suggested the 200 will use a nine-speed automatic transmission to help hit 38 miles per gallon on the highway.
Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
