Black, Great Shape, Small Lift, 20" Wheels, Brand New Tires, 97,000 Miles on 2040-cars
Whitewater, Montana, United States
2008 chevy silverado for sale. Great shape! Only selling because I just don't need it, and instead of a backup or something, I'll sell while it's still valuable. It's been a great pickup, never any trouble! It has a leveling kit in the front, and another inch or so added to the back so it doesn't look stupid when pulling a trailer. 20" Mamba wheels that turn heads, and brand new Dick Cepeks, less than 300 miles! Also has a Hypertech power programmer to help with fuel mileage and what ever else you want to mess with. I installed mostly so I could adjust speedometer to match bigger tires. Has a rubber bed mat in the box, windows are tinted well, and comes with nice Weathertech floor liners, front and back. I also put in an underseat storage box in the rear. It's almost a necessity in these pickups, keeps stuff under the seat out of sight. Motor and drive train are solid, and been well maintained. It may not show much on the carfax, mostly because I live out on the farm,100 miles from closest dealer, so all servicing has mostly been done by me. Always ran synthetic oil, and changed every approx. every 4000 miles. You won't be disappointed, it's a sweet truck!

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray
Fri, 25 Oct 2013We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.
Chevy shows much-improved 2014 Corvette interior in new video
Mon, 11 Feb 2013If you want a closer look at what went into designing and building the interior for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, we've got just the thing. General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.
2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Convertible offers a few more views before reveal
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Over the weekend, Chevrolet released its first images of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Now, ahead of the droptop's official introduction tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show, the automaker has given us a few more shots of the softop C7 showing off the car's rump albeit from a high, strategically positioned angle.
From this angle, it's hard to get a sense for how long and flat the decklid really is, but we can easily see that, like the rest of the C7's design, the new convertible's decklid and tonneau cover are far more detailed than the current car. We also get a better look at the rear haunches sans brake vents, which have apparently been moved to underneath the car in order to accommodate the top's hard cover.
As for the overall styling of the C7 convertible, with the top erected, we get some idea of what a coupe design (as opposed to the Stingray's fastback shape) would look like on this car. The C5 Corvette most recently had a coupe model that did away with the large glass hatchback, and we recently reported on a low-cost "coupe" model potentially being added to the C7's repertoire.
