1952 52 Chevy " Old Navy " Truck * Very Cool Hot Rod Chevorlet $$ No Reserve $$ on 2040-cars
Terre Haute, Indiana, United States
Here is a running/driving 1952 Chevy truck. This was a actual display truck in a Texas OLD NAVY outfitters store. These trucks very rarely make it back onto the road after being setup as a display truck.
It has a 250 inline six with a powerglide transmission that runs and shifts great and has been all gone through. Camaro subframe, bias ply white walls, bright red interior with black carpet, wood bed floor, all brand new wiring and updated to 12volt, everything electronic works ( high/low beams, hazzards, dome light, ect). Has lots of new odds and ends througt the truck. Not a perfect truck by any means, but it gets tons of attention on the street and shows/cruise ins. Under side of the truck is very clean!! Also has all the correct paper work done and has a clean and clear indiana title. It needs a set of door pins, you have to give it a good slam shut(latches are brand new). Windows go up and down, but have the be guided with both hands(it looks like there is a tract piece missing?) and the speedo needle came off the other day,so it will need put back on or replaced. Other than that its a good old truck. delivery is available within 250miles of 47802 please feel free to email/call/text any questions to zach at 812 223 0006 also feel free to check it out in person before bidding, no joy rides please |

GM claims it's first to sell million 30+ mpg vehicles
Fri, 04 Jan 2013As we continue to put together all the data for the year-end edition of By The Numbers, General Motors has announced that it sold more than a million vehicles in the US last year that achieved at least 30 miles per gallon on the highway. More impressively, GM managed this feat using multiple strategies including small vehicle size, turbocharged engines and hybrid or plug-in technologies across four brands (Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC) accounting for 13 separate models. This number will grow even more in 2013 thanks to cars like the all-electric Spark, the diesel Cruze, the range-extended Cadillac ELR and the Buick Encore compact CUV.
GM's small car sales were up 39 percent last year helping to attain this million-sales mark for 30-mpg models, and almost 40 percent of all GM sales consisted of cars with fuel-efficient I4 engines. In regards to more advanced means of improving fuel economy, GM says that it plans on having 500,000 vehicles with "some form of electrification" on the road by 2017.

Use this PowerPoint when convincing your spouse to let you buy a Corvette
Thu, 14 Feb 2013When you are not the one in charge of the purse strings, creativity is a must when trying to get the string-holder to bankroll that next shiny object you just can't live without.
When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.
