Silver and Red - Not original to the car. Data plate matches colors but has been replaced by a prior owner. Factory
A/C that has been upgrade to R134 components, factory sidepipes (not installed), factory headrests, factory AM/FM
radio, factory rally wheels and new redline tires, posi-traction. Original manual and jack. New power steering
pump, fuel pump, spark plugs and wires, many small parts. New flow-thru exhaust for quieter cruising. Lower rear
panel replaced with exhaust ports. All original sidepipe parts and mufflers, including lower rear panel go with the
car. Mufflers and pipes are in great condition.OEM sill trim installed. Original rear bumpers re-chromed. All other
chrome in excellent condition. New taillights and bezels, new front grille. Interior is spotless. All gauges, horn,
clock and lights work. Headlight buckets operate. All heat shields are new and in place. All four grounds straps
are new and in place. Exhaust manifolds have been surfaced and new gaskets in place. Factory AM/FM works. Handles,
runs, shifts and stops as designed. Reproduction window sticker included - see photo. Windshield has some wear -
scuffs. One 2" crack in paint behind passenger door handle. One 1/2 crack in paint in front of driver's mirror. No
stress cracks. No signs of damage to body or frame. No patches, no rust. Body is extremely straight - see photos.
Bird cage in order. All rubber in excellent condition. This is not a show car but it is an excellent driver
condition car. It is also an antique car so it is not perfect but with care and maintenance it should give years of
enjoyment and value. There is no other color showing anywhere on the car.

Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs
Thu, 03 Jan 2013General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. 2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.
