1970 Chevy Short Box 4 Speed 402 Big Block on 2040-cars
Alden, New York, United States
You are looking at a 1970 Chevrolet C-10 short bed pick up. Original body and paint. Truck born and raised in North Carolina. Truck still has chalk marks from factory. Truck was originally a 307 3 speed on the column truck which now has a 1970 original 402 engine which came out of a 1970 C-10. It has an Edelbrock Air Gap Intake, new Holley 750 Double Pumper, Hooker Competition long tube headers, Flowmaster exhaust with x-pipe. Truck has a new Sagninaw 4 speed transmission. Brand new Eaton Posi Unit with 308 gears. We do have the original 3 speed transmission and original 307 engine. It has factory recovered bench seat. Tach in dash cluster. Has power steering. Has a new vintage look radio. The rocker panels have rust on each side as shown in pictures and are original. This truck runs and drives down the highway perfect. Estimated horse power is 450. Along with original paint and body, truck comes with original dings and wear marks. I would say truck is 99% rust free. This is one of the most solid original body panel, original paint trucks you will find. Everything works on truck. Truck sold as is. Thanks for looking. Please call me at 716-583-1009 with questions or if interested. Truck is for sale locally so I have the option to end auction early.

Autoblog Podcast #327:
Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it
Wed, 06 Nov 2013We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.
Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.
