1962 Chevy Fleetside 455 Olds Motor 400 Trans Nice Patina Rat Rod Truck on 2040-cars
Los Angeles, California, United States
Hi this is a really nice 1962 chevy fleetside longbed with a 455 olds motor! Made to look old black and red patina paint job, very few dings, the hood was replaced and fenders are new It sat for 16 years before I got it and had minor damage on the bottom of the wheel wells The previous owner inherited it from his Father in law and it came with 2 oem fenders so I installed them and semi flat painted it.I replaced bed with new solid oak and stainless strips and bolts the bed looks almost perfect because the father had a camper installed and the bed was never used I power sprayed the frame and sprayed it with truck bed liner from the topside down. Interior is nice even the original seat looks good passenger door knob sticks, and some minor paint bubbles on bottom inside passenger cab.New starter ,alternator battery, fuel pump, filters Clean title I've never driven it but did start it up and ran good and strong but tank has gummed and needs cleaning, right behind seat so it's and easy fix When I took the pictures rear tires had not been installed yet there is a full set of the tires and rims in that match the front. I have to many other projects so i need cash this is alot of truck for the price hate to part truck is in Los angeles by LAX

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra introduced
Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]
Sun, 03 Feb 2013The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22. You can head over to the Auctions America site for more information. You can also check out the trailer for The Hunter below.
Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
