I am selling my 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula. It has 110K Miles and I have owned the car since I bought it from the original owner in October 2007.  (I am a non-smoker by the way...)  It had 101K miles on it when I bought it.  It runs and drives great.  I drive it 2 or 3 days a week.  The rest of its time is spent in my garage.  This is the last model year of the Fiero.  It has the completely upgraded suspension that Pontiac only offered in 1988.  Handling was much improved over the previous models.  It is equipped with the stock 2.8 Liter V6 Engine and a Manual 5 speed Transmission.

This vehicle is all original.  The only things I have changed is an 88 GT steering wheel (I think they look cooler), a new distributor, rebuilt both headlight motors, and a FieroStore.com wider air Scoop.

The car has the following features:

·       Cruise Control

·       Air Conditioning (currently not working, I haven't had a chance to figure that one out yet)

·       Trip Odometer

·       Pop Up Sunroof

·       Rear Window Defroster

·       Intermittent Windshield Wipers

·       Tilt Steering wheel

If my reserve is met, or a high enough price is bid, it will also come with some additional parts (which I haven’t had time to put on the car) and accessories:

·       Door hinge pins (for both doors)

·       Heavy-duty car cover

·       Various restoration bolts and screws

·       Sunroof shade cover

·       Haynes Fiero auto guide

·       Other various small parts

The vehicle does have a few minor issues that I list here in the interest of complete disclosure:

·       In an automated car wash, the sunroof will show a small leak.  Not a lot, but it will drip some.  Needs the weather strip replaced.  Can be found on EBAY for $95, or Fierostore.com for $85.

·       This car looks great.  It will eventually need a paint job, or if you are good with bodywork, just a bit of paint work on the corners of the sunroof will bring it back to near perfect.

·       Driver’s seat has a hole on the left lumbar support area on the driver seat.  This is a typical problem because it gets rubbed each time you get in and out.

These may seem like problems, but I describe the car this way: It is not a show car.  If that is what you are looking for, then this car is not for you.  But this is a nice car to drive every day.  It runs well, tracks straight.  Has lots of tread left on the tires.  It needs nothing to drive every day. However, it won’t take much work to turn it into a show car!

You won’t find another car like this with NO RUST, untouched (as far as after-market add-ons, etc.) and ready for someone to take it to the next level.  I bought this car as an average mechanic hoping to hone some skills on a car I love, unfortunately life and family leaves it waiting in my garage far too much and it needs to be driven!

You are welcome to come take a look if you are near Washington DC area (in Northern Virginia).  My cell phone number is 703-587-0464.  Thank you.

NOTE: The actual mileage will be slightly higher than listed.   I am still driving the car, so it may have a few more miles than what is listed.

NOTE:  One of the techniques I was taught about shopping for a Fiero is to look for rust in the rear wheel wells.  You open the back and pull the lining back in the trunk area and look for rust.  This car has NO rust in these areas.  Just wanted to point that out.
