 Description

1931 MODEL A REPLICA

VIN S0S296311ILL

MIELS: 4187 reading, but who really know, the car does not have a lot, it in good contition.

TITLE: Clear title in hand, it has a VIN that matches the car and is title as a 1981 Ford 2 door Roadster.

IS THIS A REAL MODEL A? No, its a very good quality replica/copy that look like one, but runs and drives better and is more dependable.

WAHT IS THE BODY? The body is made by Wescott, that a very good company based in Oregon. It is made of very thick fiberglass, the hood is metal. Most all the body parts are Model A, the bumpers are, the windshild frame, the top, the running boards. The car looks just like an original Model A Roadster to me and I have owned sevel Model A Fords.

WHAT PARTS TO I BUY IF I NEED SOMETHING? Just buy 1931 Model A body parts and Ford Pinto mechanical.

WHAT IS THE DRIVE TRAIN? Its Ford Pinto, parts are easy to find, just buy Pinto parts. Engine, transmission and rearend are Pinto. Its a modern alternator with a 12 volt electrical system.

HAS THE CAR EVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT? I cannot find any signs of a past accident. The frame is straight and I see nothing bent that would indicate it.

ENGINE: Its a good running Ford Pinto 4 cyclinder, I think its a 2300 cc. It has no knocks, no rattles, no blue smoke.

TRANSMISSION: Its a Ford 4 speed manual, it shifts good and has no bad noises.

STEERING: I think the car drives great, it is modern rack and pinion steering.

BRAKES: They stop the car very good.

PAINT: It shines good, it has no fiberglass cracks, it has no bad fading, it does have a few tiny touched up chips and is a little orange peel in places. Its not a 100 point perfect show paint, its just a nice drive and enjoy paint job.

INTERIOR: Very nice seat covers with no real wear.

TOP: No holes or loose steaching, it is not new, it has some discoloring. Side curtain do come with the car as well as a top boot.

LIGHTS: The headlights work, the tail lights work, the turn signals work, the brake lights work.

WHEELS AND TIRES: The wheels are original Model A metal, the tires are OK, but old. If you are going to tour long distances they are not good enough, if your driving  short runs, 25 miles or less I think they will be fine.

WARNING: This is not a new car, its a nice used Classic Car. Its not perfect, but very presentable.
