The average modern car weighs over 4,000 lbs on a light day, loaded down with all the options and creature comforts one could ask for, but lacking any semblance of soul with the road-feel a flying brick. What is the car enthusiast to do these days?

Enter this MG TD, a tiny, lightweight roadster from the Early Fifties. This MG TD weighs in at just over 2,000 lbs and is a bare bones enthusiast-bred roadster. If you can't have fun driving this little car, then maybe cars just aren't your thing. If, however, you are an enthusiast, a run around the block in an MG TD is sure to get your motor turning.

Previously owned by a member of the local MG Club, this 1952 MG TD received a complete frame off restoration 6 years ago. It has been highly detailed from top to bottom and is a competent touring car that can be driven down the twisty back roads all the way to the car show.  The MG has been finished in gorgeous dark red over a tan interior and a tan top. The body was stripped to bare metal during the restoration and all of the chrome and trim has been restored. The interior has been restored including carpeting, seat covers, new top, new tonneau cover, new door cards and refinished dash. It is very clean and needs nothing.

During the restoration the engine, transmission and rear end were all rebuilt and the car now drives wonderfully. Pull the choke, pull the starter and the car fires right up and falls into a smooth idle. The braking system and suspension was all rebuilt from front to rear including the front steering rack. The MG runs out nicely around town and we had her cruising on the highway at 65 MPH just humming along.

For the British car enthusiast looking for a tidy little roadster to add to his or her stable, this MG TD fits the bill and is a hoot to drive.
